Evening all. Astral cream is what I have used for donkeys years. I have tried some off the Avon range, but I was allergic to them,so went back to good old faithful. I have also tried the latest Boots one,but that was when I was working, and able to afford to buy it. Good luck with the diet Linda. Did you fall asleep when littlie went today. Seems to me you and Marilyn could have been sisters in a former life, both suffering from the same ailments. What you need is a good rest, and it's not so easy when you are still working is it. Rita, get them feet up and rest them. And stop chasing them there workmen around. lol Shelly what is wrong with little ones finger and toes.? Now you have got me worried,I hope everything goes well. Hi Pauline,Yvonne, Maz,Liz. Lady And anyone I may have forgotten.

Yes she has been pretty nice to me today for some reason ?she said people talk about her behind her back but you (me) always tells her to her face. I said I dont know whether you mean that is a good thing or bad ?but if I dont like something you say or do then I tell you. like not opening the door for my friend when she got locked out but since then when Rose got locked out Monday you opened her door. she said that is because I was on duty with your friend across the way I was on a days leave. I said you didnt do yourself any favours as people will talk when you do things like that.
I do feel l mean at times but what do I do say nothing or speak out.?
Rita
perhaps that is why I have so many illnesses problems I am being mean.

I said to Sheila thats s*** s law for you. she still has a little laugh when i get my astral out. Rita

Pauline i have used Astral all my life and my skin is quiet good for my age I had trouble getting it at one time and brought 4 big containers with it in once because it became scarcebut i found a little shop near my sister in Hampstead that stock it so I buy a small one everytime I go there incase I have trouble getting it again.
The workmen have gone I am waiting now to make sure the system works as I kept getting a ringing noise in my call system they said it was the outside one I could hear. I said if it is not I shall complain.
I got my beaker back from the Estate manager she said I am sorry I dont know how I got it I said when you borrowed sugar or milk as you do often when the men come you most likely forgot. anyway I have it back now
tomorrow the window men come to reseal the windows as that came away. and hopefull Friday my sister is coming for the day she is better now but the trains have to be running from Waterloo for her to come there had trouble this morning with signals or something.

Aww, I hope he's OK Shelly, you'll have to make sure he doesn't pull the bandages off. Hope he's not too sore afterwards, did the hospital say whether he would be in a lot of pain or not?
Well, it's not as cold today as it was yesterday, still cold but not as bad because we don't have that horrible cold wind we had yesterday. We've even got sunshine!!
I've tried that one Yvonne, didn't do anything for me, think it's a face lift I need.

Hi everyone
the face cream is by l'oreal, Age Perfect, I was using a cream from Avon but it's perfumed and the smell made my eyes water ( i know that sounds odd)
I don't like shopping for clothes cos I see something I like but when I try it on it looks wrong, I'm quite short, a lot of clothes are made for taller people.

Morning everyone.
Thanks for the cuppa Linda, I'm just having a sit down while I wait for the washer to finish, so I'll have my cuppa now.
It sounds to me that you need more Thyroxine Linda, don't know how they thought it would help by reducing it. I would have thought reducing it would make your hair and weight problem worse. I sometimes wonder if they know what they're doing.
Marilyn of course we don't need more clothes, your hubby doesn't know much about women if he thinks we only buy clothes when we need them.....lol
I do the same as you Mo, I keep saying I got things in the sale, he doesn't seem to mind if he thinks I got a bargain.
See Rita, that's what you get for bragging that you had lovely warm weather down there. My North Pole weather came down and got you.....lol
Shelly was another one rubbing it in about her lovely warm weather, I wonder if my cold weather reached her as well.
Yvonne, let us know if the face cream works, I'll order a bucket full if it does.

Morning All,
Linda Thanks for the tea. You should take it easy a bit more, we both seemed to have the same medical ailments.... diabetes.. thyroid...blood pressure. And there is no way that I could do all that you do, and what you have been doing of late.
Take a break and look after yourself, give your body some strength you'll need it before long........DR MARILYN speaking !!
Thats Linda sorted ..LOL
Rita I assume you meant Plymouth Records Office and not (Portsmouth) as you stated ? I live in Plymouth, and of course I will go there for you ,just give me the details because I go whenever it suits me, so could be anytime !!
Mo I think its fair play with buying some clothes as hubby does sneakingly buy gadgets from the internet without me knowing, and often I say to him theres a van outside have you ordered anything ? and with a coy look he will say its only a little something for the car or commuter but that little something could buy me another TOP !! LOL often happens like 2 twice a week ! And he's got the cheek to say to me DID YOU NEED those clothes ? Well my answer is.... NO...... but I WANTED THEM ..
Thats they way to do it....LOL
Anyway off for me bath........

I dont know that area very well Mo I know places like Ramsgate and Heron I think that is how you spell it.? but other than that not much the bonders all changed so I dont know what part belongs to the kent no I know Dover is I have been there many times getting the Ferry to different ports.
Yes I think we had better keep our eyes on that Marilyn buying all these clothes and NOT TELLING HER KIND HUSBAND ABOUT IT she had to tell him about her hair do because he could see it.
Good luck to her we only live once and why not enjoy doing things that give us pleasure if we can afford too. you only have to leave it to others to spend.
I am cold today yes I take back what I said yesterday about you all being cold and me warm I woke to a grey sky and a chilly day.
have a good day the workmen will be here soon so I suppose I will have more noise.
love Rita

Cuppa's all round
Hope you are all well this morning
Fresh here, and a bit overcast
Have little K coming again this afternoon , so will try to get back after dinner. Hubby on lates so not home til 11:30ish at night.
Nurse will see me in 4 weeks to see if I have managed to loose anything ? Will keep a food diary so I can show her what I eat and then she suggests more blood tests for thyroid and diabetes. As the hospital decreased my thyroxine????? To help with my hair loss WHY I fell asleep yesterday when little M had gone home and don't really want to get up in the morning either.
Oh well have a good day see you alllater
Linda :o) XxX

listen to you lot have a conversation on here as though you were on the telphone Blue water and Lakeside I have never heard of bluewater where about is it ? Lakeside I went once on a coach journey one of the clubs locally had a day trip out there one christmas.for christmas shopping. it was quiet dear. the stuff to buy l mean I went last year with my sister to White city shopping mall it is suppose to be the biggest they had built it had shops from all over the world there many Paris shops and all the well known name but the prices I nearly died when i saw them shoes £250 I would expect two pairs for that.these were very high heels but only had a couple of straps going over the top I said to my sister have they been finished or is that the start of them.
I must be lucky here as it has been very warm and still is even this time of night. l had my windows opened all day except when they were drilling and I had to close them and when the gardeners were at it as well with their mowers. But I understand they will finish the job tomorrow so thank goodness for that. Mo I dont need any tea thanks love I am drinking some Ovaltine doing some more reading then going to bed. Rita
