Mo, I remember all of those things on the email list, and a few other things as well. I remember walking around all day on stilts that my dad made for me, and playing double dutch with 2 ropes. We played for hours with chuck-stones as well, don't know what you called them down south.
Rita probably remembers a lot more than me about old games.

I only get six months when I renew as well Pauline. I think it's because Shelly and I joined later than you,and started on a six month contract.

For goodness sake Pauline,I am getting seriously worried about you talking to yourself,so I thought I would just say hi to you. Did you get the e.mails I sent you. I wonder where our Rita is today,it's so unlike her not to have popped in to say hello.

Shelly, how come you've only got 6 months? I got a year when I did mine a few months ago.
I've been going through my tree as well, trying to see what certs to send for while it's still 7 quid. Have you decided which ones to get?

Hi all,
sorry I missed the party and didn't wish Sue a Happy Birthday, but hope it was a lovely day, Sue.
I have to go out and get a dress for o.h.'s son's wedding, it has been sorted out now and is at the place they cancelled a couple of weeks back, I suppose they couldn't find anywhere else so had to take that one. I am not going to spend a fortune, unless o.h. pays which I think I will suggest lol, and as it's Bank Holiday weekend in August I think I might get a dress I spotted in bhs sale if I can, pink and purple (of course) part linen, and wide enough straps to wear a proper bra under, I have a shrug that will go with it so can wear that to start with and then if it's hot and we end up sitting outside I can take the shrug off and sunbathe lol The wedding is a couple of miles away at a Registry office at 12.30 so all afternoon for the reception, we have to book a room at the venue for the night before and after so we won't have to rush there - 40 odd miles from here - and can drink what we want and just wander off to bed! Then we can recover on the Bank Hol Monday unless o.h.'s father has his birthday/ family get together on that day, that's the usual practice and not all the family will be at the wedding, I think there are only to be 50 guests, it's all being done on a tight budget, the bridegroom is a bit careful with his money.
Counselling later today so must get some sleep, can't miss another session as I did last week.
take care all and have a good week
love Lizxxx

Pauline ,I dare say that Marilyn is getting her washing done for her on board. Other than that, if they have got an outside cabin, with a balcony, Maz could be pegging her smalls out there. At least they would not take long to dry. Linda, your outfit for the wedding, sounds really nice. I love the colour turquoise,it's such a summery colour as well. I bet you will look the bees knees in it.

Good evening everyone. Well had a lovely day. Started off taking the dog for a walk, before my daughter came to take me out. First stop a coffee. Then walked around the centre as the shops weren't open til 11:00. Managed to get an outfit for the hen weekend, a good start. Then off to Debenhams and the personal shopper. Few details and off she went coming back with an armful of clothes. I gave her a starting point of turquoise as I had a necklace and bracelet that I wanted to wear. The first things I tried on, I loved. But a dress she chose I wasn't keen on. Another outfit was a lovely blue, but so much like the outfit my own mother had worn to my brothers wedding more than 20 years ago, that I was surprised and knew I couldn't choose that although I would have loved it otherwise. Another outfit was rather green not a colour I would choose. So that was a no no. But I did get the first outfit I tried on. It was basically turquoise with some lilac and cream. It is a skirt and blouse with a short sleeved blouse and short sleeved jacket. Then rather than a hat( difficult with my hair problems) she brought a fascinator with all the matched colours. A clutch handbag and matching shoes both in the right turquoise. Added up to a fair bill but my daughter was delighted with it all. So that was the one. All beautifully packed and brought home. Hubby loved it and didn't collapse and said it was lovely for such a special day for all our family. Marilyn I could wear most of it on my next cruise !!! I was very happy, one less thing to worry about. Then we went to Primark and got some reasonable underwear and PJ's and kitchen towels oh and some cheap sandals which are surprisingly comfortable.
Off to do some more cross stitch.
Sleep well all of you.
Linda :o) XxX

Rita, your dinner sounds tasty, I haven't had mine yet. I should get the ironing done before dinner but I can't be bothered.
I wonder if Marilyn is getting her ironing done for her while she's on the boat.

I agree with you about all the repeats. I watched Foyles war again this afternoon,as there was nowt else on. But a new series is due to start next week. I will be watching the skating tonight. I think that Hayley should win it. It is not to cold here at the moment, but I did put the gas fire on,when I got up this morning. Mind you it was 6.15 am,and it was miserable outside at that time.

Have you noticed how cold this afternoon I has been. don t know why. I thought being as it was brighter it would get warmer. and there was me trying to save some penny on heating
It is last of the Larkrise to Candleford I do enjoy that series but I suppose we will get rubbish on inplace of that well rubbish to me. It is also the final of the Ice skating so I will miss the first bit as it comes on when Larkrise to Candleford is on.
have you noticed how many repeats we are getting and they are not ones that have been on a longtime ago either they seem to show the same ones every couple of weeks.
I hope you enjoy you dinner Mo I had chicken breast roast potatos roast parsnip and carrots I am only allowed dark green twice a week or three times if I have a very small potion that is about a tablespoon due to the warfarin.
nearly 6 oclock and it is still light.

Good to hear from you Lady.thought you had imigrated.where is that shelly sneaking off again I suppose she has gone with Yvonne to Marilyn to turn her clocks forward. that will teach her to go away that long. she will come back and not know what time it is.
