Morning All Off to get fresh foods in a minute.
Be back later
Rita I'm not sure how many on GR tree, but think it's around 2000. My FTM tree has many more not all confirmed by me, Lots of info from extended family I have found since joining GR about 6 years ago. It has both my parents families, hubbies too and some of my DIL as she had a tree from her father which is supposed to link back to the Royals, but one link is missing !!!!

Thanks Marilyn. I wondered how my friends on here had got on their tree's you have done well. I didnt start till 2002 the year my Dad died. and there was only my sister and I alive then , I mentioned to my sister Sheila. that it would have been nice to know who Dads roots came from, and I only knew His Grandfather was named Absalom and his Grandmother was Elizabeth, and started from there He had told me their names. many times and that the family came from Honiton in Devon.
so we had a couple of holiday in Hontion and got free access to the microfis and records, then we started on Mums roots which started in Scotland and Cornwall. I have so many files you would not beleive it. but I have the main family ones on the tree and all the others(which have all been checked and double checked ) I have some wills but not many,

Stephen you are a naughty Boy where is you Cycle Helmet ?
I tell my Grandsons off if they dont wear one even the little ones . A long time ago one of my husbands cousins nearly lost his life on the Milk race as we called it then. when he had a really bad accident and was very ill for months his parents were called as they didnt think he would live.
I hope you enjoy the hilly bits on your 50 mile cycle we should see you sometime next week. we dont want to hear you puffing up them either.?
you Maddie must be dead tired cycling all that way in such a short time, are you sure you didnt hang onto a broomstick and cycle. I would like to see that The cycling witch. lol

Good Morning All.
[_]? [_]? [_]? [_]? [_]?
Decaf tea, decaf coffee, detox drink, juice
Scrambled eggs, toast, lean bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes.
I see I shall have to take some of you in hand. We have a year to sort our selves for the Olympics, and some of you have been very tardy.
I shall have to invest in a big bullwhip and crack it now and again.
I have been up for a while, eating a protein packed breakfast, and am off out for a 50 mile bike ride.
I am in my lycra shorts and top, with riding shoes ready to go.
I have greased my arms and legs to keep out the cold.
WHEN any of you lot decide to rise, I shall expect you to join me.
Have a good day all. Hope everyone is fit and well.
See you later.
<3 ;-) ;-)

Where is everyone ?
I never did get my dad to go out this afternoon as it was lashing down with rain, so its gonna be another time.
I started to put all my hard work onto my tree ,but GR was not having none of it Grrr.
I could not get into GR for about 4hrs , I have now added on the Suggestion Thread that we ALL ought to have a months Subs for free !! :-S
Dont suppose they will ever read it .....but I was really angry as I could'nt do any adding on my tree .... So we went to the local shops in the rain ..LOL I had to get some fresh air !
I'm going to watch telly for a change as I have now added to my tree most of my findings .
Speak to morrow..xxxx :-)

PAULINE I remebered today was the anniversary of your sister June death. that year has gone bye quickly to me but I expect it has been a slow one for you and today must bring back memeories Bless you Pauline.
I had a letter to day from the Rotary Club inviting me to an afternoon out, they are taking 12 of us in four cars a drive around Surrey and then to a tea at a Garden Centre,where we are having tea and cakes. and then they bring us home at 5 oclock. I have to let them know. It is the first time the Rotary Ckub has contacted me.
We had heavy rain about 11 o'clock this morning and I heard thunder. I was just looking through my wardrobe to see what to take away with me on Sunday,

Morning all, it's not a bad day here, quite sunny and warm. I haven't put the washing on yet but it shouldn't take long to dry today.
Hope your dad's a little better today Linda, it's a worry for you with your mam not being able to look after herself.
I have to go out and buy a new lappy today because my hubby's lappy is useless and he keeps taking mine. Think I'll give him this one and keep the new one........ he always seems to break them.
I'll be going to the cemetery later because it's a year today since my sister died, can you believe it's a year already?
Have a good day everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~ to Marilyn, Shelly, Mo, Rita, Linda, Lady, Yvonne, Stephen, Dermot, Jean, Maddie, Pat, Cath, Agatha, Sally, Barbara. Hope I haven't missed anyone's name off....... apart from my own.
Morning All,
Maddie are you expecting to WIN ALL the MEDALS :-P Just ease up a bit I need a medal as I never got one the last time... :-S
Agatha....Enjoy your your caravan stay.
Linda...I worked in Boots too....I was a Consultant for Dior then, and happier there than in the larger stores.
I might take my lovely dad .........plus his wife without her wooden spoon for an afternoon tea on the moors in a little tea house ...this afternoon..
My evening went well ,my sister is a night owl and didn't leave until 12am and I was tired....but we had a laugh as she is going to be a great grandma !!! Her grandson a handsome lad only 19yrs is having to get married in July, such a shame as he had joined the RAF and was doing very well met another RAF female ......., bang goes his young years.......baby will stop all that !! But she is a lovely girl and they seem very happy , so who are we to trouble & strife over it. My sister said well it happened to me and she is right it did she was 19yrs, but I think we were more mature in our day... the younger generation has so many more opportunities than we ever did. So that's one of the weddings I'll be going to.
off for my bath....
