Rita, I have to sign in all the time as well, it's very annoying.

Dermot, I liked the letter, very funny. Who did Eve's children marry, where did they come from?

I didn't like my first mother-in-law.......... come to think of it - I didn't like her son either.

I loved my second mother-in-law........... and her son of course.

Alot of people are having that problem Rita, I think its because GR are carrying out changes.
Back from Doctors, and blood pressure is still up, so I am having bloods done at 8.45am on Tuesday and ECG at 12.30 on tuesday, the nurse said they check everything out now before giving medication.

I have been on Tablets for Blood pressure for years now. even with taking them does not stop strokes from happening. I had a masive blood clot a few years back. and nearly died. if I had not been taken into hospital quickly I would not be here.
so take advice from your nurse or doctor and dont try and hide things from them. Agatha.

Morning !!

I had a great mother-in -law I never once had a bad word with her and she never ever told me how to bring up my boys , I miss her so much.and she lived until 92yrs.
Unlike my Step mother she is a witch !! with loads of wooden spoons that she can stir amongst us
:-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

Agatha. just relax at the surgery, that way you'll get a really good reading if you wind yourself up and worry you'll get a not so good reading.
Invest in a monitor( Blood pressure machine) I got one.... taking your blood pressure in your own home is the best way of a true reading . on the market now for about £17.
recommended by my doctor.

I have to cook dinner tonight for my sister & hubby.....doing a fish pie & rhubarb crumble.

Back later ...bath ready.

Another thought about Adam & Eve -

She didn't have to listen to him going on about how his mother was such a good cook & he didn't have to suffer her going on about being lumbered with him & that she could have married any man.

Morning all
Agatha I too am being checked by the nurse for high blood pressure after my dizzy spell last week. I hope yours is OK today my checks are Friday and next Friday too.

The sun is out here too this morning Rita. Yes I saw it is forecast showers and heavy where they occur.

Managed to knock the ironing down last night. So all clear until I do more washing.

Knitted the back off a jumper yesterday for Bulgaria, so that was good. Need to get a little stockpile for the winter and get them sent out early this year.

Have a good day everyone

Linda :-) <3

Agatha - Adam or Eve had no mothers-in-law. They were lucky in that respect but had a liking for apples which were in limited supply at the time.

They were accused of scrumping apples in the Garden of Eden.

Brilliant Dermot. Morning to you.

advice Agatha your going to the nurse this morning who is there to help you. so if you are suffering from High Blood pressure it is better they find out and you know, as it can be treated. no good finding out when the damage is done.
stokes accure with hight blood pressure if not found out and treated.

Morning to you. let us know how you get on.

Ah Good Morning All.

Not so bright, but at least it is dry.

Well done the 5 mile run again over the fields. Saw a few boxers in training, running along punching the air. Also saw a few pigs flying along the clouds. Decided to push it a bit further this morning and jumped into the pond for a refreshing dip. Oh yes, this training is going well. I shall be more than fit for the tri-athlon next year. Puffs.

[_]? [_]? [_]? [_]?[_]?

Tea, coffee, juice.

Detox drink. Do try some, sea-weed, green algea, lots of vitamins.

Cereals, toast and jam.

Lean bacon, poached eggs, grilled tomatoes.

Oh yes, I feel so fit now, I could go back to bed.

Hope everyone is well, take care.

See you later.
