Morning Folks !!

Pat it is a bit dull but the sun does keep peeping through......so fingers crossed .

Shelly you need lots of brownie points, so clever to give up your ciggies what with all you have done over the last few weeks, of course your bound to put weight on ..I did ...but you will loose it gradually week by week as the food is your ciggies now :-S

I'm also cutting down, I have gone without lunch for a couple of days now as its the bread that makes me put on weight. I have a good breakfast of cereals with loads of fruit, and somehow that fills me up until tea time /dinner .If I'm a teeny weeny bit hungry I have a Muesli bar from any super store, my ones are from Lidl.

Rita ....I don't sleep when I go to bed early ...I watch telly programs that Pete has taped for me while we have been away in comfort. :-D

Linda..... glad your feeling better, still don't know how you fit everything in your days !!

Linda the emotions may still be with you but they have not been with me and yours dont show the faces have you noticed.?

It is a nightmare for me to get on I go on site and get a blank page and keep having to go to the top to the arrows and mess about.

but i think ill go shoping as i now need some veggy and saled and lots
of it as well as i am now in need of that diet and there is no mucking about this time.

the whaitgh seems to be pilling on now im a non smoker

Back from my walk, hubby came too.

It is beautiful out there and everything looks fresher for the rain.

Did anyone see the report that a study is being done on Swinley Forest(Crowthorne) to see what trees to plant where we had such devistation? Hopefully they will plant with fire breaks and maintain them as that appears to have been some of the problem.

it is sunny at the moment even this time in the morning.but we have a cloud heading this way.
I woke at 5 and could not get back to sleep too much on my mind.
Stephen I have come across alot of the Scottish names have come from Ireland orignally I was told McCallums had something to do with the people who moved from ireland to Scotland McCallum is spelt with a U and ours with an A Mum use to tell me that. dont forget when your writing the name it is an A and not U
I find more with a U than and A. in Scotland. but in Canaida there are lots of McCallums with the A,
I bet Scarlette will love her day with Max and Star.

All is well here too. Sun is up and the world looks brighter, so much nicer.
Well hubby helped to finish stripping the bedroom, and youngest too when she popped in last night. So much easier with help. Need to go to the DIY now and chose paper for the wall behind the bed, and matching paint for the other walls. The paper we took off was awful to strip, so won't be papering all again.
Dress nearly finished Mo, it is pretty but a lot of knitting, shame I have to wait for a baby to be born for it !!!!

The medicine seems to be working so going for a walk with hubby soon, before he goes off to work again.

Hope all goes well at the hospital Rita and for your son in law too.

Dame Shelly is our night owl on here, the rest vary a wee bit but all tend to be tucked up fairly early.

'Barr' the name from the Gaelic means 'Top' or 'Head'. There is a Village in Ayrshire named Barr and Barr Castle is in Ayrshire.

Every possibilty that the name originated in Ireland though.

Gonna have my Shower , Supper then Bed.

Evening All .all the best at the hospital Rita x last time i had an early night i had the flu 1999 remember it well . I love steveys` bag pipes wonder if he takes them to bed with him ? I noticed you mention the name Barr Sure have seen the name ..a name of a place through Barrhill .maybe the name comes from there its in South ayrshire. I am going to have to write All your names Down .its a busy thread im it lol Barbra :-D ~~~~~Maddie & Pat .

Night Marilyn, stay warm. :-)
Today I changed our bed and put 4 tog duvet on. Night sweats are driving me nuts :-( Will have overhead fan on as well, OH might just be frozen in the morning.

I am going to make some cholcoate drink for myself., so I can get some sleep tonight (I hope )
