An OK day today think the tablets must be helping, not sure what will happen when I run out ?

Managed to iron the patio door curtains today and re-hung them too, without feeling dizzy.

Went shopping for an anniversary gift this morning for our daughter and hubby. Can you all believe it was a year ago that we all enjoyed that special day? Where does time go.
Got them some nice glasses and hubby treated me to a new vase too, replacing one he broke a while back. Shame he didn't get any flowers to put in it !!!! LOL

Also got flowers, wine and chocs to take to my brother and sister in law when we go there for dinner tomorrow.

Have a nice evening every one

Linda :o) XxX :-) <3

We went to the lighthouse there and that was really windy.I'm lucky I didn't lose my hat!
It must have been a bit hairy in the canoe!

Pat,

That name rings a bell !

We did a lot of Canoe training around the Portland Bill. You got all manner of seas running in the area. The tidal races were particularly dangerous.
Must have been daft eh ! :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

Stephen,
No I didn't talk to any strange men! The bus went ontomWeymouth after my stop but I think that was another 50 mins. travelling. I go through Weymouth on the way to Portsmouth sometimes. depending if it's the winter or summer timetable.
Yes it's still there. A couple years ago my sister and brother in law went to Portland Bill for a couple of hours on the way from Portsmouth to Exeter. It was late December and it was freezing and very windy! Verne you're thinking of.

Ooooh Ello.

Just catching up with you all. What happened to my message this morning?

I wrote you all such a beautiful message bright and early. Saying what a lovely day it was, and how I hoped you all felt a bit better this morning and what I was doing, and it aint there.............. :-P

I can only think I pressed Preview, and then shut down. Lol :-)

So, how are we all. I see Marily will be wearing her padded gloves, going to a barbie. The ones I have been to have been pretty disasterous. Raw chicken, and limp salads. So generally, a no no.

We took Charlie out for a long run today [see you can all visualise her now] and kept her topped up with water all the way. Needless to say her tongue was trailing the floor. She is spark out in her cot now, snoring.

:-D

I am hitting brick walls all over on my tree, so gonna sit and have a good think, and see if I can come at it from a different angle.

Thanks again to Stephen, I am wading through the info he sent me.

See ya later.

Pat,

I hope you didn't talk to any strange men !

My favourite place in Dorset is Weymouth. I have had a lot of good times in Weymouth.

There was, perhaps still is a Prison on the Portland Bill. I had the pleasure along with three of my colleagues of Breaking In to the Prison one night. That caused a few red faces. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Hello everyone,
I've had an interesting day. I went on a bus trip to West Bay Dorset. It took 2 hours to get there but I'm used to long coach journeys.
A book i read last month. The Beachcomber by Jospehine Cox was bases in West Bay and I'd never been there until today!
It's a lovely little place. Very small, not much there except cafes, A beach, some shops and surpringly enough loads of benchs so it was easy to sit down.
Back home watching the footy. England are a goal down :-P
correctionEngland are now 2 goals down :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P

Have you noticed how many people connected with the Derby are Irish. I was sitting eating my lemon chicken and watching the TV I was surprised how often they spoke to someone who was Irish. most of the Jockey they mentioned were Irish. Dermot are you at Epsom today ? They certainly have a lovely day today.
I hope the horses arrive back to their stalls without getting hurt.

Marilyn

I hope you have a licence for that gun ?

Stephen about Private Ryan that was a true story .

There was a family called Sullivans . before Private Ryan was saved the Sullivans brothers 5 of them joined the US Navy they served together At Guadalcanel in 1942 They were devoted to each other which took precedence over all else. from what I recall they all died together on board a ship. one could have saved his self but he went to help his brother It was this that made the US Government deceide afterwards that they should not allow all brothers to serve. one was to stay home. The President said he could not allow a mother to loose all her sons.

I think you can get it on the internet I did it on Open University years ago.
It was so sad reading all about the Sullivans family

Morning all, we've got the same weather as you Stephen, it was mad hot yesterday with not a breath of wind but today it's windy and a bit nippy.

Rita, Steve was born just a couple or weeks before me, hope he has a lovely day and hope his health improves.

Glad you're feeling a bit better now Linda, maybe the tablets are working already.

Marilyn, I've never heard of having chocolate and porridge together.

Jean, can you send some of that hot sun up here please?

Mo, it was nothing serious........... just high cholesterol, I was a bit surprised though because it's always been low before.

Edit: Stephen, I don't think Marilyn was talking about going to the store, I think food cooked outside was what she had in mind............ LOL
