I have been across to the chemist to take my repeat perscription the chemist it was empty.must be the heat keeping people away from shopping.
I went into Waitrose to get some bread, milk and ice cream and as I was coming out one of the girls said. she had put two smellies by for me. I didnt have to have them ? but they found a box of 12. so I had two lilly of the valley smellies. getting special treatment.
They had spays in so perhaps they will get the smellies in I dont need anymore yet.

Linda that is what I have been having. I have had it two months now. I was given little tablets think they were called Stepsills I kept falling about I didnt go right over but was so giddy and felt so sick. I still have it that is what is making my tinitus worse.. I have had two boxes of the tablets I have run out now. I dont want to go to the Doctors again and tell her. this Tuesday I have my check up at The Royal Surrey I have to see my cancer consultant. my son has altered his hours so he can take me.
I wont know if it has grown because I didnt get the scan but I have to have three blood test done.and see Professor Panda at 2 0.clock. I dont think he will be happy I didnt get the scan because of a mix up at the hospital.so I expect he will arrange another one.

Hi Linda,

Thats awful my brother had that only a few weeks ago and also had it a few months ago and had a lot of nausea with it...
Wonder why she didn't give you antibiotics as well, as I'm sure its an infection of the inner ear.
Just take it easy as it might come back .......well not that I'm saying it will but its such sudden the attack as was with my brother.

Soooooo glad you treated yourself with tops!! just tell OH that you have had them ages ;-)

I missed M&S sales last week .....Oh how did I do that ? My friend told me yesterday about the sales Uggggghhh
:-S

Well off to get ready for the docs.....

Hi All
Well seen the Dr she diagnosed labyrinthitis and has given me tablets to control the nausea. I hope they work.
While there she also took my blood pressure, it was quite high so now I have to go back for the next 2 Fridays to get that checked.
Been shopping with hubby, spent a fortune on food as always nowadays. But Marilyn you would be pleased with me as I sneaked in 2 tops while hubby was looking the other way !!!LOL One is pink plaid, cowgirl type? and the other just a plain white tee shirt. Sainsburys has 25% off til Monday and the check shirt was already one third off too.

Going to sit in the garden now and relax

Linda :-) <3

Ladies! Not at this early hour please! I'm still consuming my toast & things.

Petticoat toasted soldiers & soft boiled egg are not on my menu. I have a delicate disposition.

I think they they want people to see what they are wearing Rita, When I was up town yesterday I noticed people were wearing very little, it must be something to do with the sunshine.
I hope everyones having a nice morning, I'll have pancakes please Jean.

Linda yours could be an ear infection if your giddy on one side that happened to me I am unlucky that I have very high blood pressure my notes say I suffer from Hypertension when going into hospital they have always take me in the day before even if it is a day surgery because of it..

Morning Jean thanks for the breakfast. I felt too lazy to cook for myself.this morning.

Maddie I call them both slips and petticoat the slips I call them when they are waist ones the Petticoats are usually the whole ones used with a dress.
I have three Nylon ones I have had for years, they still look like new but I wanted cotton ones. I have not got a M&S near me I have to go into Guildford if I need to shop at M&S which takes about 3/4 hour on the bus.

I will see if I can get one when I go to Norfolk in two weeks time. I know they will be dear. but they will last along time.
you speaking of the white trousers I notice alot of women and girls wearing throngs. I often wonder if they realise people can see what they are wearing.through their trousers or shorts.

Morning All
Only had a cup of tea this morning still feeling odd. So have made an appointment to see the Dr at noon.
It seems I get giddy when in bed laying on my left side only, the side I have tendonitis. Then I feel nauseous.
Hubby home for the next 4 days, so he can look after me.

Will let you know how I get on

Linda :o) :-) <3

Morning Jean and others as they rise :-D
How is Max doing now Jean? Hope he's recovered.
Gorgeous start to the day here as well, long may it last.
Food shopping today :-P What a chore! I loathe bringing it all home and unpacking it, only to see it disappearing as quick as I put it away, lol.
Finally found some blinds for my kitchen on ebay. Not quite what I wanted but near enough, the alternative was having them tailor made and prices for the big window were ridiculous. Can't wait for them to arrive and get them up as old ones are spoiling 'the look'.
Hope you are all well this fine day,

Cath xx

Good Morning All.

Lovely sunny morning again. Hope everyone is well.

Rita, you are more modern in your approach than I. You call it a slip, I still call it a petticoat. M and S. do some, but they are not cheap.

You would have laughed yesterday. But it is a cautionary tale.

A lady was walking past in white linen trousers. She was obviously wearing a thong [Stephens favourite] and you could see cheeks of her botty VERY clearly. Nice. ;-)

Have a good day all.

See you later.

Rita I can remember a couple of years ago trying to buy a waist slip.I gave up.

Rita

Rita Report 2 Jun 2011 21:23

Hi everyone
Maddie how right you are about some of the clothes people are wearing . I tried to get a long waist slip for underneath my thin skirts. I couldnt get one. I was looked at as old fashion when I asked in the shops.while on my way I noticed a lot of old and young people wearing long thin skirts and could see their knickers and most and their legs no wonder I am having a job getting a cotton waist slip. looks like I will have to wear the skirts and show my drawers.through the material.

Sallie I dont go into Aldis it is right on the corner of a busy road and it takes me ages to cross that road. you cannot see traffic coming around on the left hand side where there is a sharp bend.

I have been watching aload of rubbish tonight should have switched the programme off Britians Got talent there were a couple of good enterainers but the rest were really not worth watching.
