Pauline did you cover the seeds with black cover like a rubbish bag. that helps the seeds come through then you take the weaklings out that gives the soil over to the seedlings. I always grew my plants from seed in Norfolk I had an acrea of ground and used to collect the seeds from the plants when they finished flowering and start them off like that I did have a cold greenhouse and a small heated one which I kept my Catus in as they were flowering ones and needed the heat. Dont worry I will look after the firemen when they come they can stay here until they get a shout Lol. Pauline I am allergic to sticking plaster the material type not the other only the material ones. it takes the skin off when they take it off and leave a big red mark with little blisters. I have been sorting out some box files I have three big bags of paper now for shredding. I found my Aunties Will dated 1968 she left me somethings in her will so I was sent a copy. and I found I had cut some cuttings out of the local newspaper about the funerals it was good as I found listed all those who went to the funeral and it tells they were buried. and their ages.along the side of Aunties was my Uncle Freds as well. my Mums brother in Law and listed was his brothers and sisters.and me.

Rita, I bet you'll be making the firemen a cuppa so you can enjoy their company a bit longer............ have you got some nice chocolate biscuits to give them?
You don't need to know the name of the geranium 'white' is enough to describe it.
I'll be working in the garden today because it's quite mild out there.......... no wind for a change.
I put seeds in my tubs this year instead of plants, they look a bit messy now........ might not do that again.
Nice hat Sally but I did wonder what was sitting on your shoulder. I can see your hand but couldn't make out what was under it.
I saw a couple of people on another thread trying to work out what Pat's photo was.
Marilyn, it's just as well Pete isn't allergic to glue........ I'm allergic to it, can't even put a plaster on a cut.
I had a blood test this week and the nurse put some 'non-allergy' tape on it, and yep......... I'm allergic to that as well. Within half an hour my arm looked like I'd been scalded.
Nice to have you back Linda, sounds like you had a good time.
Stephen get down from that tree, do you want to end up back in hospital? :-) :-) :-)

Linda....Glad you had a great time in Bonny Scotland , I'm sure you needed that break with all the running around that you do.
Sally ......that Racoon is now a hand I can see that , but the tail around your shoulder must be your hair ! :-) silly me ..LOL
Agatha.....Still loving your gorgeous Oscar , is he sitting on a white fluffy rug ? Have a great time in your caravan ,my daughter-in-law comes from Cromer.
Rita,,,,If there are staples in his wound they will have to stay there ..LOL The glue has already setting and suppose to take 10 to 14 days to knit the skin back together. He has no further appointments just a new dressing on Monday with the nurse at his surgery. He's is doing well, getting back to normal, going to make his favourite fish pie for dinner tonight ....hmmm I love it too.

Linda I am pleased you had a good time in Scotland.now your back to the work and real life Lol.
Agatha Snettisham. you have brought back some lovely memeories . I cannot wait to go back to Norfolk next month. 5 days I will have to get around a lot in that time. friends are all inviting me to have a meal with them while I am up there. I hope the weather is nice. I can go for a walk along the clifts, my husband use to spend hours sitting on the clift top with our dog. when he died I use to go to that spot and talk to him. I felt he was near me.
The sun is out the sky is blue. so it look like it is going to be a nice day.

Hi All Will have to read back later Just to let you know that we are back from our lovely break in the Highlands of Scotland. The weather was very kind to us Stephen. Hope you had a good break too. We were based in Carrbridge and had 4 train trips. One up the Cairngorms by The Furnicular Railway. One from Fort William to Mallaig. One from Aviemore, the last from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Overnight there was snow and it was lying on the mountains this morning. We had some free time in Edinburgh today and really enjoyed visiting the museum and seeing some beautiful paintings.
I'll try to get back on tomorrow
Linda :-) <3

Stephen, I heard or read somewhere that people who are dying and have family sitting with them often seem to wait until the family leave the room before popping off! Perhaps that is what Madge is doing, waiting for them to get out of there so she can leave without them seeing her going.
Huia.

Marilyn. I have never heard of them glueing a insertion like that ? what happens to the glue does it go ?or do they have to remove it ? I had metal clips 25 in my tummy where they did my gall-bladder operation . I didnt know tiill four weeks after when I had to go back to the hospital to see my consultant.(a lovely Irish man ) he told me, I nearly ruined his career. it appears I started to come round before he had finished the operartion they were just over halfway. He said he nearly had a heart attack.
Pauline I had a call from a Fireman this afternoon we chatted away on the telephone they are going to come on Monday in the evening to fit me a new fire alarm and check everything. he said I better warm you as we will be there in the fire engine. so dont worry. as they are on call. I said I know you could get a shout anytime. and told him two of my cousins were in the frie service. and I had two friends in Ealing who had been in the fire service. as well as three in Norfolk one sends me l emails once a week to see how I am getting on.? I have sorted out one of my large photos I took of the Firemens Memorial in Lodon with the poppy wreaths around it is mounted in a white carboard frame. with two descriptions of why it was errect and when .
I always take photos or memorials when I go away and I have many from London. I did some when I lived in Norfolk and was staying in London for two weeks. and gave them to some firemen I knew.they didnt even know anything about it. I am proud of the photo it was one of my best.
Pauline I put my plants in this afternoon I need to get some more next week.

Evening everyone, its been a gorgeous sunny day. Marilyn glad Pete is behaving himself, get well wishes for him :-) Anna was not married before and I don't know much else about her, she was often referred to as Annie although in my family as I have found that counts for nothing!! Why oh why name your child one thing and call it another, Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Stephen I hope your friend is not in pain and can slip away peacefully, it must be terrible for her family, my thoughts are with them. Agatha I hope the drops make your ear more comfortable. I want to try and get on with some research but don't know if my heart is in it tonight, I'm hitting so many brick walls it gets a bit disheartening. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to all, I still get the names all mixed up :S

Did anyone watch last night the father that was reunited with his son,? well I was in tears big time....how sad was that that his mother told him to say to his dad I don't want to see you anymore ... :S Mind you one don't really know the full story.

Hi Pauline I brought a white Geranium I forgotten what it is called.? I also brought two Fushsia and a big Impatiens. they are all in large pots. I shall have to buy some more. I have not put them in the ground yet. as I lost the interent this morning so I closed it down and went and did some shopping in Waitrose. I was so surprised a lot of the ladies seem to have gone and there were so many young men working there. I said to the one on the till what a change to see so many young men working . I did have ago at the prices of two items the ices cornets I brought on Wednesday were £!.55 they were up £1.99 I thought that was bad pushing the price up that much. I didnt buy I left it. can get them cheaper other places.or go without. Agatha I am pleased you got something for your ears I did mine both one cleared itself after I had used the warm olive oil . but the was really bad I didnt like the syringeng as I had ear trouble anyway. Marilyn has Pete got metal clips or those that desolve. ? Stephen I hope your washing was whiter than white and you didnt put any of Mrs Stephens red underwear in with the whites.?
Just got a PC of my sister from Turkey posted on 2nd May. she is coming over for the day On tuesday as she is off on her holidays again on 11th to Copenhagen, then Oslo onto Bergen then the Fjords and then Sweden and home. she has been around the world mostly on her own this time she is going with a tourist company.

I have been to the doctors, and he gave me sodium bicarbonate ear drops and I have to have the ear syringed next wednesday, I am dredding it, he says its completely chocca block with wax. If he's bossing you about Marilyn, then he feels better, he deserves fussing up after an operation though, tell him I hope he gets well soon. Madge is holding on Stephen, people don't go until they are ready, they never do, but that shows they have a strong spirit. Have a good friday everyone
