Hi everybody.

Stephen, my thoughts are with Madge and her family and friends, it's an awful time for everyone.

Sally, you look like you've got a purple halo, makes you look angelic. I tried to put a smile in here but it's gone to the bottom of the page instead!!

Marilyn, pleased to hear Pete's back home, hope he isn't in too much pain. You have to let him be boss for at least a week, or pretend to let him be boss. :D

Rita, what plants did you buy yesterday?

Wonder if Mo won at the darts last night.

Can't see Maddie's name on yet, come on Maddie - we're waiting to hear what happened with Kevin.

Don't forget to send us some photos of the Christening Shelly.

Agatha, my husband has a lot of trouble with his ears, he keeps going deaf in his right ear. The doctor gives him some drops to put in and it clears up after a few days.

Pat, I don't think I've heard that song before, I might Google it and have a listen.

Haven't got time to write anymore just yet so............

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to Cath, Yvonne, Jean, Dermot and Linda if she's back.
Ah Goody !
Marilyns gone for her bath......better get the binoculars out and get up the tree before I'm too late..... :D :D :D :D :D ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Bright and breezy here with some showers.
Our dear friend Madge was not with us last night, no communication, she is stll hanging in, poor soul. It's so distressing to see her struggle to leave this world. God will take her in his own good time.
Marilyn, Look after Pete, you know we men love to be pampered.
Hope he feels better soon.
Dame Shelly is giving the toilet seat a rest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Catch you later.
Morning.
No Jean .....no breackies...just as well we have to give her some mornings in bed ;-)
Cath ......I did try last night to find a marriage for your Anna Johnston do you think she may have been married in another surname ..like married before ?
there were loads of William Hamilton marriage in Belfast & Antrim... so was wondering also if Anna was just a another name for her ..have you got her birth or Baptism record ?
The Master is OK today......wants to start bossing me around, but I'm having none of that ..LOL :O
He is not a happy bunny as he cant have his shower , has to keep his wound dry, so I'll have to give him a wash with the shower head standing up in the bath !! :S hmm should be fun LOL.
Shelly ...have you been clear of ciggies ? and how about your daughter ?
Rita.... I watched that family reunion last night and cried for that dad in Australia , how emotional was that !!
Where's Stevey gone ?
Going for my bath...
:-(
Edit ...been looking at my message and I did ask a LOT of Questions :P
So quiet on here tonight :-(
Tried to do some research with no luck.
If anyone is bored I'm looking for a marriage between Anna Johnston born 26th july 1889 and William Hamilton born c1884. Marriage would have been in Belfast. Anna was the daughter of Isabella (nee McCaughey) and Hugh Johnston and she was still single and living at home in 1911. They were probably presbyterian. Have tried all the usual sites with no luck so if anyone can find anything I'd be chuffed to bits.
Will say goodnight to all,
<3 <3 <3
Evening all,
finally got some time to myself, its been a hectic day in this house :P
Marilyn glad Pete is coming home already, that must mean he's doing well. :-)
Patricia I like that song, the lyrics are lovely.
Dermot, Ken Clarke is a complete and utter moron. He suffers from "foot in mouth" disease. I happen to know a rape victim who never got justice and the damage caused to her and her family was heartbreaking. There is no excusing rape ever.
Hey Shelly hope the scoots have cleared up and you're feeling better, of course the OH will have it worse than you, lol lol.
BIG (((((((hugs))))))) for little Ryan and his family.
Hello to everyone else,
Cath xx
I can't stay long, as I am playing darts tonight.
Marilyn, it's good to hear that Pete is home safe and sound. This is when the hard work starts ;-)
Shelly, hope your BTM has calmed down now hun. I thought you had the back door trots, thats why I suggested the swimming ring,not coz I thought you had piles.LOL thought maybe your BTM felt like it was on fire.
Maddie, I hope K is o.k. Have they decided how to treat his knee problems.
Evening everyone,
It never ceases to amze me how things happen........
I work around the corner from the Barnfield Theatreand accasionally you can hear music etc coming from the theatre. I googled the theatre to see what was happening. I never did find out what was happening this afternoon but having clicked on the website i found out the Ralphn McTell is coming to here.I've seen this man twice, once in 1977 and again in 1978!
One song I remember Ralph sing was "Weather the Storm" I liked the words.
here they are.
Weather The Storm
So you're finally over it now.
You thought you wouldn't make it,
But I knew you would somehow.
I guess I knew you could make it in the end
And it's good to have you round again old friend.
You weather the storm,
You weather the storm.
You weather the storm,
And you come up smiling in the end.
So, you're over all the disappointments now.
You thought you wouldn't make it,
But I knew you would somehow.
Maybe it still hurts to think of bad times that you spent,
But it's over, and you're back again old friend.
Chorus
Into every life, a little rain must fall,
And for sure it poured down on you.
An umbrella's no good in a hurricane,
But just like the sun in the end you come shining through.
Chorus
So, you see, it's getting better now,
You look a little battered,
But we all do anyhow.
When the break is mended it can be stronger than before.
Don't go round butting doors or punching walls.
Morning All.
He's coming out today .!!!!!!!!!
Think they are short of beds, anyway he's fine at the moment until I suppose he tries to walk a little bit. I am waiting for a phone call to pick him up, he thinks he is going away next week as we did book a holiday in a hotel in North Devon., I'm going to put my foot down with a firm hand and say NO :S Uggghhh MEN !!!!!!
Maddie we have to concentrate on Keith now, bless he has to get better now or at least dealt with pronto !
Jean has come up trumps again with the breakfast , don't know what to have ..LOL
Shelly ....are you better today, and how about the rest of the gang ?
Thanks for all your lovely concerns & thoughts on Pete.
Going for me bath ........
Marilyn I hope you find Pete better this morning than yesterday. good job he has his old slippers with him, they must have streghted a bit so he cannot run after nurses on the ward. . The floor are usually a bit shiny. lol
Shelly have you tired an old remidy for your tummy ache.. It does work in most cases that is" lemonade with a small pinch of salt in." I suffered terrible with that once when I was in Norfolk and my Doctor who beleived in naturall remedies as well. and he told me this and it worked I always do this if I have a tummy upset.
It might pay you to try.
I hope your soon be feeling better.
