Morning everyone.
Well we survived our baby sitting last night. Lilly was a little angel, she had a little cry when we first arrived, but she was soon smiling, and fell asleep. She stayed like that all night, I was hoping she would wake up, so that I could give her her bottle, but no such luck.

Shelly, I think the Babyfacecompetition site, is having problems. I have been trying to vote for Lilly, since yesterday, and it's not registering.
Lilly is the last baby on page three, of the 0to 6month girls. She has not moved from ten votes since she has been entered.
S is going to ask whats happening to the site, as it's totally unfair whats happening. I know she has got the ten votes as when I clicked on her photo it said thats how many she has got.

Well folks another farce of a Eurovision Contest, why the heck we bother to enter, I just don't know.It's all so political.
We could have the best song that has ever been written and performed, and yet still only get a few votes.

I am just going to jump in my bath, as we are of out to the club for a game of darts, and in Roly's case a few drinks.

Morning Everyone, The song I liked least won the eurovision, I never like the winning song.

My plan today is to find surnames for the people in my tree with a ? instead.

Shelly I don't watch the Eurovision song contest and haven't for years, its all too political and not about how good/bad a song is. Oh and JEDWARD pleeeeeeeez :P

Pat just had some strawberries myself, lovely. Lashings of cream as well, naughty but nice.
I managed to catch up with my research as well today, instead of messing about with :-( ;-) :S <3 =I :D :O :-) =I
Going to curl up with a book tonight (Michael Connelly's Black Echo) and a nice glass of pear cider.

my daughter just phoned they are home from their holiday in Biddiford Devon the weather wasnt that hot they had a couple of spots of rain ,but they were going out on the coach , the last day on their way home Steve was taken ill. he threw a fit and fell down banging his head , the coach driver wanted to phone for an ambulance but Steve would not let him .he said he thinks it was the chemo he fainted a couple of times after that. but when he got home he went to bed and after a good nights sleep .he felt a lot better. he said he had worried about the other people on the coach. and worried he had held them up. my daughter said people were so kind to them. I spoke with him he said he fills better, now.
when they got home she had a message from her doctor he wanted to see her on Monday ( she has a heart problem)

we also heard little Ryan was rushed back into hospital his little wee bag had broken and he was in pain. they are going to remove the cafiter he has and see how he goes from there ? poor litle boy please say a little prayer for him tomorow when you go to chruch. and for my son in Law and daughter.

I hope everyone is o.k, and that the weather is kinder to you,than it is to us here at the moment. It's blowing a gale, and looks like it's going to throw it down with rain at any minute.

Marilyn I hope the weather stay fine for the BBQ I go to St Lukes Cancer hospital here in Surrey. they have a couple of hospices in the area.

I did some washing this morning well 2 dresses and two half slips it got so windy I got them all dry except the collar of one of the dresses. I went shopping to Waitrose I was so surprised the shop was half empty no queues nothing I dont know where the shoppers were.? mind you there has been alot of complaints from some of the shoppers as they have rasied their prices not by a few pence but by much more so many people are now going to Morrisons or Sainsburys or Tesco's.
I also noticed a lot of the mangers have left and new ones appear.
so I dont know what is going on.

I wonder how Stephen is . did he leave a baby sitter for his bagpipes. lol

It is overcast here we have a forcaste of rain and storms later this afternoon.. me no like storms.

Morning everyone, its dull here today, I think the sun is trying to put in an appearance though.
I have been looking for my mums cousin for ages, and had no luck finding her marriage, or if she had children, when last night a relative of hers got back to me to say she was a poor Clare nun in Dublin, thats why there was no marriage.
Just got some Daisy Dalrymple books so will be reading those, and making a chicken curry for dinner tonight, but not at the same time and looking forward to the Eurovision tonight, do you think we will win ?

I did notice blue sky this morning.
A bottle of wine last me ages! I like the screw top bottles. I only have one glass of wine! I know high living!
I've just washed my hair and then I'll go and do some food shopping.

Its a beautiful day today.

Off this morning about 11am on the beach for a BBQ lunch in aid of St Lukes Hospice.

Grandson surfing and others canoeing & swimming, so should be fun.

Mo, I can't believe all the things they tell young mothers to do and not do. I think the best advice they can get is from their mother and grandmother (and great gran of course) because they know they've done it all before and did a good job of it.
