I thought ……..

When God gave out brains, I thought he said trains & I missed mine.

When God gave out looks, I thought he said books & I didn’t want any.

When God gave out noses, I thought he said roses, so I ordered a big red one.

When God gave out chins, I thought he said gins & I asked for a double.

When God gave out heads, I thought he said beds, so I ordered a big soft one.

Sun hat.....and loads of Factor 10000000 sun block.

I don't sunbathe. I much prefer the snow and ice. I detested the training I did in the deserts but loved the mountains.

Almost time for bed.

The food was nice. Tomato soup, roast beef and creme brulee.
I hope you take a sun hat when you go away on Friday.
Tomorrow is going to be hard for you and your daughter saying good bye to Madge.I was thinking most of the people I know who have died, have died suddenly.

Dermot that is brilliant that advert on the irish Radio and it makes sense.

I have been busy this afternoon I had to list all my medication so I can give the list to my dentist next time I go then I had to work all my hospital and doctors appointment out for the next five weeks I have quiet lot. still not had my scan appointment come through. bit of a worry that as the cancer hospital appointment is for the scan results and that is due 7th June.if I dont have the scan done cannot go to the hospital for the results,
I had a cup of tea and some jelly and strawberries and ice cream while watching the repeats of "Who do you think you are " it was Rory Bremmer I forgot some of that so it was good to see it. I had no idea his Gt Grandfather was buried near me at Woking Crem. I must have missed it when he went into Surrey Records office as well. it is on "Yesterday" at 5 oclock .thats chanel 12 it is repeateed again at 10 oclock.
well time for another cup of tea.

Hello everyone.
Many thanks for sending me Pat's photo, it's so nice to see who we are speaking to isn't it.

A happy anniversary Marilyn and Pete, get yourselves of to the best restuarant in town, and enjoy a nice meal. No cooking for you tonight Marilyn.

Pauline, sorry to have missed your anniversary, but belated wishes are winging your way.

Stephen, I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Life can be a right swine at times, to the nicest of people.
It's very hard for families to bear in circumstances like this, bless them all.

Rita I had to re-read your posting, re your visit to the dentists, I thought at first you had to have 25 fillings, then realised you meant you have to go back on the 25th of the month, hmmm stupid me.

Sally, thats a lovely photo of your grandaughter.

Maddie, you are gettind as bad as our Marilyn, not finding something you really like, whilst out shopping for clothes.
It's always the way, if you have the money you never find anything, if money is short, you spot something straight away yet can't afford it at the time.

Hi Huia, good to see you on here, with us lot of gas bags. LOL
