Linda that was the name Crowthorne, he goes all over the place fishing. that is his hobbie he is what they call a match fisherman. cups and medals shield house was full of them. just like his father was. He fishes twice a year in a lake in France just past Paris. you should see some of the fish he has caught one 61 lb Carp one year he caught around 12 that size. they are not so big in the Lakes around here but he works hard and needs to relax.
Jean I hope Max is going to be OK. I recall a few years ago three horse got shot with pellets in a field not too far from here..

Patricia,
'Fluffy Paws' is doing just grand......he attends to my every need. Everyone should have a pet like 'Fluffy Paws'.
Pauline, Maddie, Foxes don't last long in my neck of the woods.....too many lambs and other livestock at risk. Sad really as I think they are a lovely looking animal and generally only kill because they are hungry.
Jean, Hope the your horse is ok. Let us know when you get a chance.
Had my tea now relaxing a bit......If I relax much more Mrs Stephen will be sending for an Undertaker.

Oh my God Jean, I hope Max is alright. What a horrible thing for anyone to do, you must be in a state over it.
Mo, I can think of a lot worse words than the one you used for the person who did it. I hope the police catch the person.......... I won't use any of the words I was thinking.
Marilyn, we've still got the sunshine but we have a cold wind now, I was thinking of putting a coat on today but just put a sweater on instead. I went into Asda wearing my sweater and the woman next to me was wearing a strapless dress, it was practically obscene.
Shelly, you're doing great, if you get the urge to have a fag........ just go on one of those 20 mile runs with Rita.
Nearly forgot to say well done to your granddaughter, Mo, she did really well to get that far on her first adult competition.
Maddie, the cats in your neighbourhood might start to disappear soon, the foxes round here kill the cats. I was always worried about my cat but the foxes ate the duck instead.
I got an email with twin baby boys talking to each other, it's so funny watching them....... I'll send it on.

My God Jean .....hope Max will be OK we have two horses in the field behind us and the owner of the next field along side does practice with his gun in his field for when the rabbits are around later when the rape crops has finished , so I was wondering if you have a farmer that is trigger happy Jean ? or maybe a deliberate attack ....How awful for you and the horse .
I have had two lots of visitors today.. One lot this morning and another lot this afternoon........
So me being fed up turned into being not so fed up !! .

Hi Rita Your son must have been pretty close to me. He must have said Crowthorne. As it has either been called Crowthorne Woods(locally) or Swinley Woods where there were the first fires on Saturday.
Jean I hope te horse is OK and yourself too as it is a shock to have an animal hurt. Is he the one who pulls your Vardo?

Oh Jean I do hope Max will be OK How can anyone do such things to poor innocent animals? Take care and let us know how he gets on. Beautiful sunny day but cooped up indoors as still smoky and I believe the woods are still burning. Again done by someone who has nothing better to do, I believe. Still roads closed off and police patrolling. Haven't seen the helicopter today.

Jean,
That is really awful. Poor Max. What the heck has he done to deserve that.
I hope you have informed the Police.
Probably wont catch the scoundrel anyway but at least you will have alerted them in case there are other incidents elsewhere.

Afternoon everyone, the weather here is great, sunny and warm, have all my windows open. Oh Mo, I would love a cup of tea please. Fed Max [my horse] this morning, he was fine, went back to see him 45 minutes ago and he was leaning against the big tree in his paddock, when I get to him I found a wound in his leg, he has been shot, so am waiting for the vet, he will be here in about 10 minutes. Best go and wait at the gate. Hope you all have a nice afternoon. Jean xx

Hi all. It looks like Maddie should change her name to "Foxy Lady" thats sounds good, and the baby foxes will see her as " Super Gran" especially if she supplies them with food.
Linda, it was on our news here, about the fires as well, I think it was on the BBC local news. Hows the paint fumes now,? did the breathing aparatus help.
Rita it's sad to hear that you had such a bad night, lets just hope that tonight is a better one for you. How did you enjoy your twenty mile run lol Twenty minutes would be enough to see me flat on my back.
Oh Jeniwren, I missed breakfast I was late getting here, but as it's the afternoon, I will make us all a cuppa or a cold drink. (^^)? (^^)? (^^)? (^^)? (**)/ (**)/ (**)/ (**)/ {_} {_} {_} {_} [_] [_] [_] [_] @@@@@@ # # # # # # # cakes and biscuits. Enjoy.
Marilyn, I agree with you about Pauline keeping all the good weather in her area, it's flippin freezin here in Kent. O.k the wind is great for drying the washing, but it cuts right through you.
Pat, stop skiving you naughty girl, and get back to work. It's becoming the norm these days, for the bride and groom, to ask for either money or vouchers for wedding gifts. I can remember a time when people were afraid to ask for gifts at all, as money was so scarse.

Marilyn, you are so right! I've done nearly 37 years! You don't get that for murder! Mind you I suppose I should be thankful I've got a job. I'm going to the bank to get money for my God daughters wedding pressie. She wants money because they're doing up the bathroom and when I get back I'll read a little bit of Wuthering Heights. x

My son was fishing at a lake near you not sure which one and he said the smoke was terrible. He was not sure where it was ? he did mention somewhere begining with a Crow somthing or other but I did'nt get it. he thought it was that.?
I have not heard here what the fire was and what caused the smoke here but we did have a windy day so it could have come from anywhere .
been to shops now I am going to do myself some lunch.

Just popped out to post cards. Local roads still closed off for the emergency services. So guess we must still be burning. The smell of smoke outside is really bad so no windows or doors open today. Glad I have no washing to do today, or maybe the next week. !!!
Will try to get back later.
Oh we were on the South today news, not sure if you get that Rita? There were 4 fires in the end. Somebody put photos onto Facebook and they are amazing but quite frightening Looked like Australia or California with their wildfires.
