Tea or coffee.

I am saying good morning it is nice out there.. I went to bed at 10.30 listened to music with my head phones on.
I didnt go to sleep till 5.30 slept for an hour and then lay awake till 7. slept till 8 I feel that weak this morning had my shower but not sure if I am coming or going. cannot think straight I hope it wears off during the day

so I dont think I am going to get much done today too tired for that

might go for a 20 mile runs later lol.

How lovely Maddie. Do you feed them?

Fires still burning here. But I think we have more cloud than smoke now. Some roads still closed, being asked not to go near the area. Still have fire fighters there too. But many areas on the news have big fires too. Lancashire, Scotland, Ireland.

Little is coming later today as she is seeing the dentist. So I have been round with the vacuum and tidied up before she gets here.

Good night everyone, hope you enjoyed your weekend.
I watched the wedding on Friday, what a lovely girl she is, and her sister as well.
Sunrise Saturday I started my travels, on the roads for 2 days. it was so lovely and peaceful, traveling the lanes and back roads you meet very little traffic.
Went to a school Spring fair on Saturday, really enjoyed it, the school children did a country dancing display and sang a couple of songs, think they raised quite a lot of money for the school funds.
Well think it is time for some sleep now.

I'm of to bed soon, haven't been sleeping well lately, I suffer with hay fever and the tablets I take give me a very dry throat makes it hard to swallow and I'm coughing and wheezy. I stop the tablets for a few days to give my throat a rest but then I start sneezing, a runny nose and itchy eyes, Catch 22,

Just watched Exile, I really like John Simm, I have seen and spoken to him, he is much more smiley in life.

Back to work tomorrow, for four days, then off for a week.

I hope it's not smolke from here !!!
But the helicopter is still up, now more than 8 hours since I first smelt the smoke. There must be so much damage and who knows how many hot spots wit the dry weather recently.

I have done the ironing and gloss painted the skirting and door, I will finish this decorating. Needs another coat of emulsion then the radiator and finally it will be done. It never used to take me this long!!!

Hi Linda I have had to shut all my windows as there is a terrible smell of burning I dont see how it can be the woods near you ? but we had thick black smoke in the distance and the smoke is really bad.
I hope if kids did it they get punished, because it is a stupid thing to do. people and little babies will suffer badly with this.smoke and smell.


My Granddaughter Louise has her birthday tomorrow she will be 13 they grow up so quickly most of my Grandchildren are in their 30's and late 20's but my son married and had three children so these are the youngest Grandchildren, yet I have Great Grandchildren as old as these Grandchildren. seems so strange

Time for a coffee and quick shower before "Exile" starts. Watched the first part last night and wasn't sure about it but will see how tonights episode goes.
Back to work tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to as I've been off since 6th April. It'sgoing to be a struggle to climb out of bed, lol. Strange because on holiday I wasup at 5 every morning to hear the dawn chorus and make the most each day.

Still very smokey over 7 hours after we were first aware of it and helicopters still hovering overhead.
I really hope if this was started deliberately that they are caught and made aware of the damage done. Don't suppose they will care though.

Thanks for the BA Mo feel like I might need it. Bet there will be lots of people at the DRs tomorrow with breathing probs especially for those wit Asthma and hayfever

Evening folks,
cold wet and windy here today, had to put the heating on for an hour this afternoon.
Daughter got a new quad bike delivered on saturday and has been out on the roads for the first time today. I was a nervous wreck till I heard her coming back.
Dermot that did make me laugh out loud,4, 6, 7,8, 9 and 11 all apply to mine, lol. Wouldn't let her near any cat, she hates them with a passion. An ex racing greyhound she doesn't bother with rabbits or feral chickens on the common near where we live but if she see's a cat she freaks out barking and hopping along on her back legs and I need all my strength to hang on.
Linda I hope the fire is out and everyone in the area is safe. There are mindless morons about who seem to get a thrill out of this sort of thing. I expect a lot of wildlife will have perished.

I'm watching Snooker ......brilliant game ..

Linda, check the cyber hatch, breathing aparatus enclosed ,it may come in handy for you with the fire fumes, and the paint smell.
I wonder if it was someone who was trying to do a BBQ in the woods,that started the fire. Anyway whoever started it, I hope they get caught,and punished for it.
Lets hope the fire brigade can get it under control soon. And that the birds and animals don't suffer to badly from it.

Pauline, my grandaughter got a recall at the competition, but was one point short of getting into the finals.
I am so proud of her, as it's the first adult comp she has entered.
Who knows she may do better next year at Blackpool, as she got a first in Stoke on Trent and a couple of other places, but Blackpool has always been a hard nut to break, especially with us being Southerners.

We popped in to see our lovely Lilly today. She is such a little smiler, and is so content now she is back in her regular routine.
Her mum had been baking Blueberry Muffins, and the house smelt lovely.
We had muffins for our dessert this evening, yummy.

I hope that everyone is well, and has enjoyed the bank holiday monday.
Make the most of it coz we are in danger of losing it soon, if the government has it's way.
