Marilyn,
Would I ever wind you up ?
She didn't have a saddle on........I managed without one. But boy did she jump when I dug the spurs in.

I thought Princess Beatrice looked very smart. Everything matched. Perhaps the hat was a bit strange!

Afternoon all,
Been sweating it out in the garden. I get so hot watching the Mrs work so hard. I tried to get her to slow down from a fast gallop to a good canter. But, No!, she kept at it hard and long. Once I got the saddle off her back and put the whip away she slowed down. Gave her a cup of Coffee and a biscuit for being a good soul. ROFL.
Seriously, we have had a great relaxing day sitting out in the sun and catching up on gossip.
Gonna have tea in a wee while.

On a different thread, a contributor referred to Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie as 'a pair of slappers' simply because, in the contributor's opinion, the clothes they wore yesterday were out-of-keeping (to put it mildly) for the occasion.
When reproached , the contributor reluctantly recanted for using the derogatory term ‘slappers’ in favour of an alternative - ‘tarty’.
How rude!

Sally....When your ready is the time to give up... I smoked for 30yrs and so loved my ciggiies I almost ate them ...LOL
Its hard but you do need to talk to them Ciggies and tell them they are a weed and they are not going to control you ....oh my gosh you lot are going to kill me keep repeating my Ideas on smoking, but it did work for me. I cant see patches working as your still putting back nicotine in your blood ,so that to me has defeated the object of giving up nicotine ...
What you don't want is people keep on to you to give up ....that made me smoke more !! .
Sally in your own time my lovely it will work one day.
Well I have just come back from shops, and found ZERO .....on the memorabilia of cups & saucers perhaps its a bit early maybe next week they might start to reduce the crockery.
Just had a shower ....got home just in time for my washing .
Just read that Catherine had white Sweet Williams in her bouquet of Lily's of the Valley's ....now aint that sweet ...LOL

The Newspaper I brought this morning was full of photos of the wedding Victoria Beckham looked like she was going to a funeral not a wedding and she didnt smile not even in these photo's what is up with her ?perhaps being pregant is getting to her.?. The same with Carmilla she scanned the wedding guest list it appears taking peoplel on and omitting people they said who had connection to Princess Diana.. they said she was shocked that the Queen gave Catherine the tittles of Duchess of Cambridge and Princess William. One of the photos Carmilla is standing next to Kate mother and one of the photographers said Carmilla looked like Kates mothers, mother, she did look old. I am glad they put the horse bolting in the news paper I thought I had been seeing things. but they never showed you the priest in West Minster Abbey doing a cart wheel along the isle where the trees were. that was very funny. especially as he could not have known anyone was looking at him doing it.
The sun is lovely the sky blue but it is a bit breezzy.

Don't those patches work Sally? I've never smoked so I don't have to give it up! How about saving up for something with the money that you don't spend on ciggies? An early footie result-Exeter City 1 Plymouth Argyle 0!

Morning all...
As Pat says its a little cloudy here in Devon, but hey ho it might turn out brighter later.
Shelly it will take about two weeks to end the craving.......but don't think about that, just take one day at a time and sure enough you'll end it , funnily enough I don't mind people smoking in my company......its just the tobacco smell that lingers on my clothes that I don't like anymore , but I must have made Pete suffer as he never complained , but was glad I gave it up in the end.
Got grand daughter here slept the night she was in the Hot Tub in my neighbours garden and wouldn't come out when her mother called her for home . It was my grandson birthday yesterday and we had his birthday cake at the garden party he was so embarrassed as it must have been about 60 guests singing to him .......don't think he'll ever forget his 14th birthday.
Pat.... I don't think I'll be watching Plymouth Argyle as I'm going in town to buy an Wedding cup & saucer of Wills & Cath as my American Friends want several taken over when I next go out there. I'm sure they would have reduced them all by now !! They all had to get up at 4 o'clock to watch the wedding and they loved it so much that my friend said wow you Brits do know how to do a great job of royal weddings also said we almost thought it was OUR Royal wedding !!!!! . As they loved it so much !.
Stevey.....don't milk the Mrs .!!..... I'm sure you could put all them dishes away when dried ....
Off for me bath...

Yes Pauline, coming to think of it it did look a bit forward! It's cloudy down south Stephen and it's cold.Necessity is the mother of invention! Off to to the shopping then back in time to listen to Exeter v Argyle. All the matches I listened to on Radio Devon- City have lost!

Hello Again,
Bed Baths are out. I can now shower properly.
I put my leg in a poly bag, up to the top of my thigh, do a double seal by rolling it down and securing it with two large elastic bands. Works a treat.
Pauline, If that chap was good looking he must have been related to me. ROFL.
Taking it easy.....I have little option just now.......once I get this bloody restriction off my leg I'll do my own therapy.......it has always worked in the past no reason for it not to do so now..
The newspaper is full of Wedding Photos......did I miss something ?
Going to hobble into the garden and enjoy a Coffee in the glorious sunshine. I'll be able to shout instruction to Mrs Stephen on what needs to be done.
Believe it or not she had to ask me how to operate the dishwasher...she has never used it......that's my domain. I don't know how to work the hoover......that's her department. Share and share alike.
Hey ho off I go.

Oh dear, if Stephen was in hospital yesterday........... who was that man I went to London with?
A car pulled up at my front door and I just assumed it was Stephen, so I ran out, jumped in the car and told him to hurry or we'd be late for the wedding. Never mind - he was quite dishy, so I didn't mind spending the day with him.
Shelly, that's really good, keep it up......... you'll live longer.
Thanks for the breakfast Stephen but you shouldn't really be hobbling about on that leg. Sit down and put your feet up for a change.
Rita, I think you should take a sleeping tablet tonight or you'll be ill with the lack of sleep.
Pat, what did you think of Victoria's hat? I think she could have put it a bit further back on her head.
Cath, what happened to your mother-in-law? I must have missed something!
Are the rest of you hung over?

Morning all, sounds like a few of you will be hungover this morning, lol. I didn't watch the wedding but saw a little on the news last night, Catherine was beautiful. I spent the day in the garden planting tomatoes, cucumbers etc and generally tidying up. Then had a long hot soak in the bath to soothe my aching joints. Today I must finish weeding and turn compost in bin and thats it. Mother in laws ribs are badly bruised but not broken, they are still unsure about her leg though which is a worry but I managed to speak to her last night and she sounded alright but fed up. Stephen, hope the knee heals quickly and you're not in too much pain. I'm sure that Mrs Stephen and Fluffy Paws make excellent nurses and will take very good care of you. Have a good day everyone,
Cath xx
