Linda I bet you felt tired after the cider!
I remember last year when I went to the Devon county Show. It was really hot and you're on your feet a lot of the time.

Mo I wouldn't spray the beasties, I usually squash them as they can wipe all your lilies.
We have been out again today. Hubby hates being in when the weather is good. Me I'm just tired. We went to a country show at Thame, near Aylesbury. It was good but lots more walking and standing and it was quite hot. Had a nice noodle, stir fry with chicken for lunch, nicer and lighter than sandwiches or pies or chips. We had a cider too.
Hubby has just done a BBQ and the youngest came over to borrow something and ended up staying and sharing dinner.

Started on my friends family tree and found out quite a bit for her, hope she finds it interesting.

Have done a little knitting Mo, but it's a bit hot right now, and it's white wool.

Hope to do a bit of gardening tomorrow, have to see what the weather is like.

Linda :o) XxX

Good evening all.
I think Rita is coming home today. Lets hope she has had a good time at her daughters.

All my bedding plants are now in. Oooh they do look grand, and I am pleased with myself.
My back is aching now though.
About two weeks ago, I saw that in one of my pots, I had got something growing. But for the life of me couldn't remember what if anything I had planted in there last year.
Whilst I was doing the bedding plants, I spotted a little red beetle, settling on the mysterious plant, I suddenly remembered I had planted Oriental Lilies in the pot last year, and thought they had died on me. So out has come the spray to kill the beasties orft, they are NOT going to feast on my Lilies.

Well I had a glass of wine. I listened to Radio Devon who were reporting on the match between Tranmere and Exeter City. Unfortunately Exeter lost 4-0.
I was reading one of my Vampire books as well!

I've just had my lunch of cold chicken, potato salad, coleslaw an apple and nut and celery salad mix. It was all quite tasty. I don't really lettuce or stuff like that. I'll have a glass of wine later this afternoon. This is definately a nice way to spend a Monday!

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?

Tea or Coffee

Porridge or Cereals, Fresh Grapefruit, Poached Eggs, Smoked Salmon, Toast.

Morning All.

I wonder how many are having a 'Chocolate Hangover' ?

Makings of another fine day here again. I need it dry as I have a fair amount of work to do on the driveway.

It's Mrs Stephens Birthday today. I'm giving her a lovely treat. She can mix the concrete for me. I don't want her doing any cooking on her birthday so mixing the concrete will keep her busy instead. She is now ? years young. She will always look like the lovely lass I first met.

Looking forward to getting the Kilt on for the Wedding. The last time I saw HRH Prince William my dear lady near fell in the harbour while she was staring at him. He had been in the local for a quiet pint and my wife and daughter followed the poor lad out. So intent on looking at him my wife tripped on a rope and my daughter caught her just before she fell off the harbour wall. Serves her right.

Have a good day ya all.

Maddie, in a way I wish we had,had the rain, the garden so desperately needs it.
I have had to get the hose out every night for ages now. I am waiting for my roses to open, they have got the buds on them, but they have been sooo dry, I can actually hear them thanking me for the drink I give them.

I see that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, were left out of the wedding invitations as well. Now I wonder why that could be. LOL

I wonder if Jeniwren is back from her travels yet. Cooee Jean, did you have a nice time love.
I hope you weren't bothered by hooligans this time.
Did Scarlett get lots of Easter Eggs. I bet she got herself covered in chocolate, bless her.

Shelly, did you say if little legs is home yet, and if his foot is o.k. I have read the thread, but there is always so much to catch up on, that I forget what has been written.

I wonder if Sally had a good day at the Zoo.

Linda, if I had been with you on your walk to Worthing, you would have come home with a tan, and I would still have been Lily White.
When Roly and I go to the beach, he comes home with a lovely rosy glow, and I still look like I have seen a ghost.
How long, and how far away, was Worthing from where you were staying.

My daughter sent me a 4D scan of our new great grandaughter today.
In the picture she looks enormous, but they estimated her weight to being around 5lb odd, and that when she is born she will be just over 6lb.
Only three weeks left till her estimated date of delivery, I can't wait.

Maddie an oversight on my part!
I'll be wearing a black dress but like I said I can only go to the evening do!
I've googled cocktail dresses and I found one for £44.90! Unfortunately I haven't got a cleavage so i can't wear anything stupid!
