Good evening all.
Rita, I am sorry to hear you have not felt to good today. I bet it's that Tinnitus thats making you feel poorly, it's an awful thing to have to put up with.
Plus you have not been sleeping very well have you. I hope and pray you have a better night tonight love.

Stephen, Shelly, Cath and Marilyn have been climbing my tree for me.
I have had the tweezers out, pulling all the splinters from their wounds, bless them all.
I have given up again on it i'm afraid, it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack. And I certainly don't want the girls wearing themselves out. So if they want to throw in the towel I don't blame them.
I am eternally grateful, for all their hard work on my behalf. Thank you all.

It's such a shame that more of us cant make the meet, as I would have loved to have met you all.
Even our Jean is unable to make it, due to health worries, and I shall miss her, especially as it's her birthday on Sunday, and it would have been nice to have celebrated it with her the day before it.

I hope Cath is enjoying her quiz night tonight. She must a clever girl entering a quiz like that.
I would be o.k if the questions were about Jack and Jill or Humpty Dumpty.

What a glorious day, the hills all bathed in sunshine, the snow reflecting the rays.

Still loads of snow on the hills as far as the eye can see. Last year we still had some on our local hills until mid June.

I am sick as a parrot............I can't come to meet you tomorrow.
Well if I'm not there you can talk about me.

Pauline....Great service. It sometimes happens. Makes a difference when it does.

Shelly and Catherine, Tree Climbing !!!!!!!! Hope they're wearing nicks LOL.

Time for tea.....back later.

It's been lovely here, clear blue sky and sunshine all day. It was very frosty this morning but soon warmed up enough to go out without a coat.

I took my son's body-brace in to be refurbished on Wednesday, and got it back - looking as good as new - TODAY............ how's that for service?

Mo, I agree with Dermot, I would have called an ambulance. But it doesn't matter now that you know he's OK.

Well done to your niece Dermot, you have good reason to be proud of her.

Thanks for the great photos Marilyn, they do get carried away with it all don't they?

Shelly and Cath must have splinters in their knees with all the tree climbing they've been doing.

Dermot, that was my opinion as well. Shamus is a lovely man, but he does love his drink.
He has been arrested before, riding his bike whilst absolutely plastered.
I spoke to his neighbour earlier, and she said he wobbled his way indoors just after Roly left him. I was relieved about that I can tell you.

Linda, you are so lucky to have a room big enough for a spring/summer turn around.
Ours is so small, that we fall over each other if we stand up at the same time. lol
We used to move into the dining room, during the summer months, and back into the lounge in the winter, but it's such a nuisance moving so much furniture.
But it was so nice to have the patio doors open during the good weather, but now we don't seem to get the summers we used to. Fingers crossed we will this year.

Marilyn, we will think of you tomorrow at the meet. And will let you know if everyone turns up, of those who are supposed to be coming.
Come on home chick, we miss you, and be sure to pack some of that sunshine in your suitcase.

Soggy morning here
Glad I didn't take down the rest of the nets.
Hubby has just removed our old hifi system, it's been gining him hastle and the CD player seems to have packed up totally. So it is now in the garage waiting to dump it !!! More space in the lounge as it was in a cabinet and no speakers either now. He can play Cd's on the DVD player and we have radio in the TV. So OK, til we sort out what to replace it with.
Having moved all the furniture had a good vacuum under everything and put the furniture in it's spring/summer places.

Tired out now. Still loads or ironing to do.

Be back later.

Mo - I would have called an ambulance in the circumstances you described, irrespective of the chap's inability to maintain any relationship to the perpendicular.

Morning everyone.
Got to get the shopping in early today, before the rain sets in.
Then up early tomorrow, so I am not late for the meet.

On his way to darts last night, Roly saw a neighbour of ours around the corner, sprawled out on his lawn.
Shamus had been out celebrating St. Patricks day, and was so tiddly he just passed out.
Roly went to see if he was alright, and Shamus opened his eyes , lifted his head, looked at him and fell back to sleep. So Roly went away and left him there. But when Roly came back from darts, the lights were on in his house, and he had vanished from the lawn, so hopefully he woke himself enough to get indoors.
I asked Roly why he had not taken Shamus into his house, he said he was unsure how he would have reacted, and as long as he was stil alive,
then there was not a lot more he could have done for him.
It's awful in this day and age when we have to be very wary, when we go to someones aid.

Bye for now folks, got to face the supermarket now.
