Capri I love it there Maddie. it is expensive isnt it ? but so beautiful.when I went to Pompeii it was the hotest month they had . had for years. I felt quiet ill with the heat.

I just had a phone call from my friend in Norfolk she said two of the hospital had shut because of a virus outbreak, I didnt see anything on the news.

I am going to do a hot drink then take a tablet and hope I get some sleep.

It could be the same one Stephen. Tmorrow the programme comes from The Pavillion in Brighton. It's on Friday and I think all of next week.
Just had a doze after reading some of War and Peace. I've nearly finished part one!

Not sure if it's this ' Queen Victoria' programme or another one that is in the planning.

I supplied the BBC with a lot of the information about her vist to the Trossachs area of Scotland. She actually bought a house overlooking Loch Katrine.

One of the Big Houses she visited was called Drunkie House. Not a very fitting name for a Royal visitor to stay in.The owner changed it to Invertrossachs House before Victoria arrived.

On my last visit to Invertrossachs House, Queen Victorias photographs were still on display. That was a few years ago, ownership has changed and I don't know the new folk.

Must get my wife to watch out for the programmes.

Stephen I have read the questionaire three times and was not sure what bits I needed to fill in.? I said ti Sheila my sister I cannot recall my jobs when I worked in 1944 the first job I had.. I did a lot of temp jobs. she said stop worrying and emailed me with all the pages I need to answer, as my printer has gone wrong I have filed her instructions. my printer will do nothing no printing or copying or scanning if I type and print it all comes out blank pages. I paid just under £100 for this Kodak printer and it has gone wrong three times. last week my son came over as the photo copying had lines down it like bars, he sorted that out, it was working fine then it went completely so my son is coming over Saturday. he said he will check it over and if it is not working then he is taking it back to PC World I have had it 9 months on 18th of this month,
we checked on the internet and he said some people have had trouble with the heads going so maybe this has happened to mine. it is so annoying.
I honestly feel everything is against me at the moment what with my sleepless nights the wrong tablets the ear problem which still comes and goes and a nose bleed this morning I had to go and lay down.



Malta you need to be a walker there everything is stone steps up and up and rough under foot. so if your not able to managed that then I would not go there.

I hope the wind has dropped a little at your end of the country. Mind you, it's a very breezy day here, I put the washing out on the line, and spent most of the drying time,out in the graden,making sure they hadn't blown away.

I'm so going to miss meeting MO & Maddie & Yvonne at that meet and a few others on Genes that I have known through out my membership. There is a Jane that lived quite near me in Devon and I we often phone each other, She will be there oh I'm really sad about that........never mind I hope they have lots of fun.

Now Maddie , Malta was not my favourite place , but the Gozo Island is worth a visit a short trip in a ferry.......now that's pretty ,
LIZ Purple knows all about the Island of Malta ....worth asking her as her sons rellies come from there.
