They don't waste any time getting them out of bed after an operation these days do they Rita? They did the same with my sister, the day after a massive operation they had her sitting in a chair for a while.

His pain will ease a little each day, I just hope they give him plenty of painkillers for now.

I rinse my hair Pat, just did my roots yesterday. I'm far too vain to walk around with grey hair.

I didn.t have Catherines Birthday date down either ? so Have a great Day Catherine. from the old biddie on here Lol
i gave up looking in the mirror years ago. I dont want to have a heartattack.
I try and not think of my age when my birthday comes around..

I have an update on my son, he is still in intensive care and is in a lot of pain. but they got him up for an hour. it will be three to four days before he is out of the intesive care. unit
They said they wont know any more detail for ten days as they have done a biopsy.

My Grandaughter went to see him this morning he had a job speaking. my daughter in Law is back at work in the Intensive ward at another hospital till monday..
so things are looking good.

Pauline, that reminds me about 6 years ago when I went to the Opticians and I looked in the mirror and I saw how grey my hair had got!
Perhaps Stephen would like a piece of my Turkish Delight! It's the real stuff from Turkey. That would help to sweeten him up!
I've stillgot my grey hair. I've never been one for dying my hair!
My digital mouse has decided to go on strike sp I'm using the "thing" on my laptop. I've put in new batteries as well.

We're all teenagers on here Pat, as long as we don't look in the mirror.

Marilyn, put plenty of sugar in that coffee for our Stephen, he needs a bit of extra sweetener today............ LOL

Thank you Jean, I didn't have Cath's birthday written down.

Pauline, I'll settle for that!
I'm going to get myself another cup of coffee!
My dentist went to Glastonbury last year. I think he's in his late fiftiesand he never had the money to go when he was younger!
I've another friend at work who goes to the same dentist and she's 65 this year. She said to me he was too old to go. My friend even though she's very nice has always thought herself as old. Me I'm just a teenager at heart with experience!

Let's make 60 the new 40, that'll make me feel better.

PatriciaAnn Report 29 Jan 2011 14:01

one of my best friends at work is 60 and I've got her an evil card. I'm going to decorate her desk!!!!!!!!
the good thing about being old is that you're still living!
Mind you I can quite easily doze off on the settee!

Now that sounds more like the OLD Stephen.

Rita Report 29 Jan 2011 13:52

stephen you are having a bad day .

Old is when you drop off to sleep while having your tea.

When you look for your slippers and foget where you put them.

When you walk to the shops with your slippers on

When you go ouit and get back and forget where you have been ?

When you cant find your glasses and find your wearing them..

When your phone goes off and you spec go on to answer the phone.

When you enter a room and forget what you wanted.

When you sit in ths chair and you go back in time.

When your biirthday cake has so many candles you need a fireman ready to out them when they catch fire.

Thats getting old. welcome to my world.

The First is that you tend to forget things rather easily.....
