The taxi fare from Farnsworth to the Friars’ Christmas fayre to be held in the front foyer on Friday fortnight is not very fair. So, I’ll cycle instead.

Shelly my keyboard had lost the lettering off some of them , well, two of them I have no A as such and S and I is beging to fade as well. I am going to buy another one when I get the chance to go into Woking.

I have been puzzling out how my Dads book " As I Recall " on his memories my sister edited and had printed managed to get into the Italian print. ? I have typed the heading out and emailed it too her.I dont speak Italian but Sheila does her in Law were Italian so I am waiting for her comeback on it. we have the sole rights to the book. but it appears to be on several lists on the internet. The Brent Archives we gave them 12 copes to sell for us as they asked , and the universities have them as well all over Great Britian.and Ireland
so I have a mystery to solve. ?

My nephew is on there as he is an Artist and a travel book writer and works for the US Government that is on the interent tells you all about Martin.
But this is strange.

Dermot thats it , you have to blame someone ?about not having snow. I will get a pair of belows out and blow it your way so make sure you have your doors shut. I dont want it to get into your house. then you can blame the Government for sending it your way.

Sue at least you didnt get stuck. in the snow. I hope it does not last long.

Pauline I am indoors to stay till I have to go out and that will be a big Have the snow is falling fast but where the paths were gritted it turns to slush.

My daughter just emailed to say my little Granddaughter Megan has gone down to the theatre. to have an endoscopy done to see if they will have to operate they have told her Mum they will put her to sleep I feel like having a good cry, I know what she is going through I have had five in the last 14 years it is when you wake it feel so sore..

Love Rita

Mo, I hope your son takes notice of you, it might take him 4 hrs to get back as well. Not much point him going to work now anyway.

Rita, whatever you do, don't go out, just stay where you're safe and warm.

LOL at Dermot!!!

I have just had a txt from my son. He has been trying to get to work for the past four hours. He's stuck on the M20,and has only travelled 1mile in one hour and twenty minutes.
He reckons the traffic is built up on both both sides of the motorway.
We have recommended that he turns round, and comes home again, even though he will be stuck in that jam as well, it's better to travel back in daylight hours, rather than in the dark.

Rita Report 30 Nov 2010 11:36

well I have snow now as well and it is snowing like mad large white flakes settling as well.
The Gardeners arrived and started to suck up the leaves laying on the grass, if they had left it till this afternoon they would not have seen them..

They have now sprinkled grit on the paths they must be freezing poor lads
. The postman arrived on his cycle and was sliding all over the place.
This is what I call true workmen get to their jobs whatever.weather not everyone can make it but it is nice to see some can and have,

GGggggggooood morning everyone.
Well guess what, we have the orrible white stuff as well.
I blame it all on Pauline, she sent it down our way. She didn't want us to feel left out.
I was gob smacked when I opened the front door last night, to go to darts,
it was snowing a blizzard. And when we left the match it was the same.
When I opened the curtains this morning, I needed my sun glasses on, cor talk about a white out, it was blindingly white.

Shelly, Jump in your car,and pop down to me, it's lovely and warm in my place, you will soon warm up love. Don't forget I am only about 40 minutes away from you.
We have got a spare room, with a nice radiator to keep you warm, and a nice thick duvet on the bed to keep you warm at night.
Loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, and plenty of hot water for piping hot baths. Hot drinks on tap to warm your body through.
