Dear Rita
Hello
Hope you are all doing okay.
Dear Rita......good for you, getting the article published.
Do you know here there is no local toilet?
The council/distrct authority have just closed down the playcentre, the main library and stopped funding groups for the disabled, parents and many others.
It was staggering to learn that the council just did this at their budget meeting.
Some of these groups have been going since before WWII.
What a disgrace.
Take gentle care Very best wishes xx

Hello all. Yvonne don't mention Bon Marche to Liz, she has already bought an outfit from there, and taken it back. She has now got a lovely dress to wear. It's the buying of a shirt for Mr Cheerful thats causing her headaches now. He's such a pain the bum, theres no pleasing him is there Liz.
Rita, we are having problems locally to us with toilets in the Pentagon Center. The council sold the franchise on, and now the people who bought it, want to charge for use of the loo's. Local people are up in arms over it. It has always been a free facility, up till now. They are talking of charging for use of the invalid toilets as well.
Oh Shelly, your poor son, fancy threatening to Fa*t in his face. That reminds me of when we were first married, and Roly promised me a treat. Being all innocent, I asked what it was, he said I will show you tonight. My mind was working over time, thinking what treat I was in for. That night, he said would you like your treat now, I asked him what it was, he said a Dutch Oven. Ooooh I thought, I like the sound of that. Till he passed wind, and shoved my head under the covers, and held them there so that I could not get out. I was green round the gills by the time I got out. Dirty little swine that he is, was killing himself laughing. Never again did I trust him to surprise me. LOL
Marilyn, I hate to say it, lol, but I told you so. Yippeeee Ben is out, snidey little toad that he is, should have been out ages ago. pmsl.I know you liked him, sorry mate. John James was only saved because the fans want to see waht happens between him and Josie. Don't know if the newby will last very long though.
Ooh Linda I hope it keeps dry for your street party. I will keeep my fingers crossed for you.
Liz I hope you get Im indoors sorted out with his bloo*y shirt. Get one thats to tight and with any luck he might choke himself. Ooops sorry perhaps I should not say that.
Jean I hope your day is going o.k. Don't overdo it though.

Afternoon All.
Hello Yvonne.......nice to see you pop in again be grateful for small mercy's ...LOL
Rita ,that is very bad not having any loo's near your shops , I always go to Mc D's or sneak in anywhere that has a toilet. I'm good in finding all the toilets in Pubs , I just walk in .....haven't been challenged yet !!
Well the boats were very interesting ,they had Francis Chichesters yacht there on show .. Oh why do they always want to Charge a fee, when its advertised as a spectacular display for the family .You could view the boats from the harbour ,but if you went on the pontoon there was a charge !! We made it known it was a rip off ...in no uncertain terms ..LOL Anyway we had a great walk and met loads of people we knew from my childhood days .....AND IT NEVER RAINED ..great. home now to get tea .....curry ...hmmmm.

Marilyn I hope you enjoy the show and that it does not rain they had something like that when I was on holiday it was really lovely.
The toilets was something Elziabeth and I spoke about on an email. she was having things in her aera closed down I told her we had a large shopping aera and no toilets available we have many elderly people who shop on the square. They have a big Waitrose. a Post office. Cleaners.. Chemist . Estate Agents .Hair dressers. News agents but no toilets. They have a place called strollers that opens a few hours in the mroning for elderly peop-le who can get tea and cakes. and use ther toilet. the church opens as well for tea and coffee a few hours. so it is a problem for people with children or are not of retirement age. we did have a Public toilete when I first moved here 8 years ago they shut it because of vandles and it never opened again. so I wrote and article about it and sent it to our local Magazine and today they publised it . so I am hoping that one of the councillors will read it and take heed and maybe do something about it. I am ok as I live nearby but others come by car and buses.and I am often stopped and asked where the public Toilets are. so I wrote a long letter about it.

Morning all
Liz lots of men wear pale blue shirts these days for weddings . as for your son he should say he cannot go paintballing as he cannot afford it. the guy who suggested it must have money and not really thought of those who have not and are struggling.to make ends meet it is shame when that accurs but there are lots like him unfortunately..
LInda your becomming a little knitter Lol it is good for your fingers and wrists. I cannot do it much now I do now and again. I use to always be knitting when I was younger.
We have had rain as well and it fell like a fountain but it has done the world of good to the gardens . the ground was borwn with need of water. I bet people who have allotments are pleased
My Grandson who is in the army has been given a posting overseas but thank god not in Afganistan he goes for 6 months he has already been to Afganistan and did his tours.
well time for me to pull myself together and start doing housework. I had a shower this morning and it took me ages as I felt so tired when I got up.
have a good day.

Morning all Tea and biscuits to start off (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? (_)? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? \_/? @@@@@@ ###### It not a good start here as it is raining, that drizzly type that soaks you through. Good for the garden but not so good for the street party today, especially as most of it is in a field !! I feel sorry too for those having a wedding today after so much nice weather lately. Also of course those going on holiday too.
Managed to do knitting, but haven't finished the pink cardigan yet. I have been given a new pattern by Little M's granny and I want to do one of that too. It looks an easy pattern with only one button fatening at the front. Definately for girls.
Oh well enjoy the weekend Girls
Will see how it goes this morning.

Hi all, can I just say despite not writing separate messages I do feel for all you people with sick rellies or having treatment and wish I could concentrate enough to send you all messages of support individually. Not because I don't care, just because I am so tired and befuddled at the mo, so much to think about here. O.h. hasn't been given any overtime so will be about all weekend, he has decided it would be a good opportunity to go shopping so we have to go and get the shirt, will remember Primark but not sure if they will have his size, he is portly to say the least lol I told him he has to try his suit on in case we need to get a new one, and check his collar and chest size for a shirt. Even he thinks white shirts for the wedding are boring, the suits the groom etc are getting are very pale grey, with white shirts and light mauve ties, how wishy washy is that? the bride is wearing ivory/cream dress with cream and lilac flowers and I don't think ivory/cream and grey go very well together, do you? My son is panicking about getting his suit and shoes for his mate's wedding in two week's time, the theme is retro so he has been round all the charity shops to try and get a suit but no luck. I went to see him last evening but he is so down, with not having enough money, he said going to the two stag dos cost over £90 as they went paintballing as well and he can't really afford that out of the small wage he gets and with all his bills to pay, shame he can't find a nice girl with a flat so he could move in as o.h.'s sons did, then he could sublet his flat and get himself straight plus be happy with someone nice to share his life. He deserves so much more than is happening for him at the mo. His friend is making a sweetie stall for his wedding reception, all sprayed silver and the children can go and get cones of sweeties and such to keep them occupied - he is an ex kitchen fitter so good with his hands. I bet that wedding will be a lot nicer than the one I have to go to.
I will have a look in Primark for some shoes and a bag while we are out, and need to get some lining material for the scarf that I want to make into a stole from the dress from Bhs but will look round other stores too in case I can find what I want there, while he is around with his credit card lol
I am hoping I start to feel better soon - my counsellor asked me to think about something on Monday and jot down my thoughts and would you adam and eve it, I can't remember what she said. I think I was so distracted by the thought of his different shifts upsetting my routine that it didn't sink in lol Oh well, will have to own up and try again next week. She brought me a cd about hynosis Paul McKenna talking about emotional overspending but I haven't had the chance to listen to that either, will do it next week when he goes to work early, I was planning to use it today till I found he had the day off, darn it!
Take care all of you love Lizxx

Linda, I am watching eastenders as well as being on here. I think the plot at the moment is good. Marcus keeping Denise captive next door all that time, and nobody knowing. Then he held the whole family captive, oooh so exciting.

Hi all, are you all having a relaxing evening? I am in bed, having a cuppa and watching Corrie, will be watching show jumping later, love it, England won the big competition this afternoon Shelly, your 13 year old sounds like my son was at that age, but he changed when he left school, and cant get him out of the bathroom now. Rita, I do hope your son-in-law continues to get better, give him my best wishes, and your daughter. Pauline, lol, I was having computer problems and kept pressing the send button cos it didn't seem to be working. Marilyn, did you get the rain? it has been very wet here, was glad I didn't have to go out this afternoon. Mo, I enjoy watching racing and show jumping, I used to do it when I was much younger, but now I just exercise my horses. well I will wish you all good night. Take care Jean xx
