Hi Mo
I'm here now.
Been in next door to water the pots again.

Knitting on the cards for tonight. Bit of ironing maybe.

Off to a street party tomorrow at our sons. Music in the afternoon BBQ's and Music in the evening. Ice cream van for the kids, bouncy castle too( we will have none there ourselves). D J in the evening.
Looks like a long day. Will need plenty of suncream, water and seats I'm guessing.

Have a good evening everyone... Eastenders is on think I'll watch it.

Cor blimey Shelly, what are you doing here this early. It's good to be able to speak to you mate. You watch now girls, she'll be gone, and i'll be on my ownio again, talking to meself. lol

Jean good to hear from you love. Now just you sit and relax tonight, and tommorrow get out and enjoy yourself.
When you say you will enjoy your horses, do you mean for real, or do you mean the gee gees on the horse track. lol
We are going out for the day on Sunday, with the family, down to Hastings.
First thing we start of in Alexandra Park, to allow the kids to let of steam.
We have a few games of footie, play rounders, then the kids go on the boating lake.
After this we go down to the beach, where the children go on the amusements. Then on the way home we will pop into a Harvester for a meal.
It's our yearly annual family outing. Oh don't get me wrong, we do meet at other times, it's just that all the grandchildren love to have a day out together. Plus we enjoy it as well.

Maz we will have to wait and see whats going to happen tonight. I read in the paper that Jedward, and Davina are supposed to be popping into the house tonight.
That should be interesting, especially if they are all still supposed to be ignoring everything that is going on around them.

Rita, ignore what Marilyn has been saying about your new neighbour, if you fancy having him in for a coffee, then go for it. A toy boy is just what you need, uhhhhm I don't think so do you. He might get you doing his washing as well. LOL

Ahhh Shelly you love your little loveable pest really, and you would miss him if he went down to Maz's. ( yeah she says like a pain in the head)
I got more enjoyment from my sons than my daughters. Dirty knees and everything else that went with them.

Wheres Linda tonight, did she say if she has got anything special on tonight.

Hi everybody.

Have you got hiccups Jean? ...lol
Bet it's a relief to have this week over, 2 long days rest now. Don't blame you for ignoring the housework.........you just do whatever you want, to make yourself happy. The housework isn't going anywhere, it'll keep.

Rita, glad to see you weren't ill yesterday, I hope your daughter's scan was OK today.
Are you chatting that new man up already?

Mo, I've sent you a pm.
You're doing the right thing by keeping your hubby to the diet to stop his reading getting any worse - he doesn't want to be on injections.

You'll get sorted out yet Linda...........one of these days you'll get a doctor that's interested enough to find out what's wrong.

Are you having that BBQ Marilyn? Think I might join you.

Shelly will probably turn up about 10pm............lol

SO where is every one. all gone off on holiday or out shopping.
.
l saw the man who had brought the flat in my block he is about 6ft 2 tall and must be about 62 I would think ?

I hope Jean is OK it does take it out of you all these hospital visits. My son in Law is getting there he is eating slightly more now than he did two weeks ago but it is only a small amount he has got terrible thin.
I love him to bits it makes me so sad to see him like this.
I hope that my daughter gets on OK I dont think he could cope without her there all the time. she is dibetic as well and has thyroid trouble.
when I lost my husband way back in 1989 I stayed with her as she had back trouble so bad they took her into hospital and did a spine operation her. I stayed there for 6 weeks looking after the family and the three children.as she could not do anything. they are really unlucky.

Mo I thought that women with her dog and sat in his d.s I had to look twice to see it was the dog.

be back later.

Linda, by your diabetic reading, it doesn't sound very high. Roly is on Glucophage tablets for his type 2 diabetes, and his readings are between 6-7,and his doctor is not overly worried about it. But he keeps him on his medication, to keep it at an even level.
He knows lots of people who are diabetics, and they could not believe the doctor putting him on tablets,as their readings are 10 plus. But as we said, we would rather take the doctors advice, and keep it under control with the meds and diet.
Try not to worry to much about it love, you will be fine.

Just had a thought, we have not heard from Jean today. I hope she is o.k.
Hopefully we will hear from her later today, after her treatment.

Right ladies
My own Dr has gone on holiday !!! after morning surgery. As his wife also works there that means we are 2 drs down.

I spoke to another Dr who I have seen before. It seems my sugar levels are 6.6
6 is OK 7 is diabetic. Another fasting blood test in a weeks time. Lucky me.
But I have the endocrinologist next Thurs to do with the thyroid but also diabetes so might talk to them first if they seem to know anything. Usually it's the registrar and a different one each time too. So great continuity of care there.

Have been for a walk with hubby this morning before our main meal and now he has gone to work.

So glad to see you Rita. We all worried when you didn't add.

Try to get back later

LOL. Rita, I may have a big bum, but thank god it's not as big as that one.
I felt so sorry for that poor little dog though, it didn't have much room to breathe did it. I hope the woman didn't have wind, oooh naughty me, my minds working overtime again.
It's good to hear from you, as you do worry us lot when we don't hear.
I hope your daughter gets on all right today with her MRI scan.
Hows your son in law faring now. Is he able to eat better now.

Pauline whatever you want to know about Roly's hospital visit, and the ins and outs of it, we will both help you with.Ask away when you are ready.
I hope you got on all right today at the hospital.

Linda did you remember to ring the doctors at noon. I, like you have been washing today. Three washing lines full, all dry, awaiting ironing. Shall I send it down the cyber hatch for you. LOL

Marilyn, theres nowt wrong with clothes from Primani, thats our name for the shop.
I couldn't believe it when my son, who always wore top branded named clothes, started shopping at Primani. Some, I agree wash very well, others are apt to shrink at times.
Well who's going to be going tonight then Maz. It would not surprise me, that your favourite Ben goes. Sorry but I think he's a little weazel, he snivels around the others, he's a little Ar*e licker. I think young Andrew will be safe, coz he's a sweet little innocent, so naive, and he lurves Josie.

Hi I am still here. it was a funny day for me yesterday I logged on and answered a thread then I forgot to go on Friendly then I had a visitor and forgot all together.
My daughter goes for he MRI scan today so I do hope it is nothing seriouse we have had so much bad luck in this family over the past year it is unbeleivable.
My Granddaughter has spent most of her life in and out of the hospital the longest stay was year. she was rushed in Monday with pains in her chest she was in so much pain they wanted to keep her in for three days but she said she could not she had three children.so they let her out the pain was caused through her constant use of her crutches.she has to take things easy for a week now, good job Brett is home.

I had my blood results from my INR (Warfarin ) back it has gone down slightly and i have to go back for another test on 24th August. so that day I will be having three lots of blood tested.

Mo that was funny I had to laugh was it your bum I was looking at Lol.

The flat that was my friends who died three years ago has been sold to a man it will be strange to have the flat with someone living in it.again .it is in my block of four.

Morning all, I didn't get the chance to come on yesterday because I had company during the day and hubby used my lappy last night because his was acting up.

I'll have to try and sort it out for him before he nicks mine again.

Got a hospital appointment this morning so won't be around again........until later.

Rita, I hope everything's OK, is your daughter alright?

Jean, it's such a shame that you don't have anyone to go to the hospital with you. If one of us could make it - we'd be able to keep you talking to try and take your mind off it a bit.

Liz, it sounds like they are trying to make this wedding look like a posh one with all the men in matching shirts. I know what you mean about him getting messy, my hubby's like that, he doesn't like to eat out because he always spills something. Makes me wonder if his mother ever taught him to eat properly.

Marilyn you must be so proud of your granddaughter, I wouldn't be able to watch without being frightened for her.

I could have done with having Linda and Shelly here yesterday to help me keep kids happy - had family here all day.

Mo, I want to ask you a couple of questions about that hospital appointment your hubby had - but I haven't got time to write the pm at the moment, got to get my son ready for the day centre now.

Be back later as long as my family don't stay too long today.

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 30 Jul 2010 00:02

Hi all

thanks for email, I have seen it before but it always makes me laugh.

Am a bit low after this week of o.h. being on nights, it's thrown me with the different times and not having the car or being able to get out easily with him about.
Yesterday Thursday, was awful, he got home around 6.30am and came up to bed and then there was all this noise, it turned out neighbour over the road, was having his drive brick weaved so a digger on a lorry and another lorry and a van turned up, all parked almost under our bedroom window which was open for air. There are no front gardens in this close, just about a couple of metres at most of grass verge in front of each house expect that neighbour doing the drive and the one on the other corner, so the vehicles just parked where they could, never mind anyone else, people couldn't get in and out of cul de sac, milkman had to walk down from the end and the noise, it was awful. The workmen were shouting conversations, and in the end I got up and slammed the window shut but the d/glazing is old so not very effective. I went and found some earplugs for o.h. as he had to be back at work at 6pm and I stayed down and had a cuppa and a headache pill then went back to bed, but I kept being woken up by the various sounds of the digger etc
O.h. went out when he got up and asked how long the men would be and said he was on nights, and they said they will be there as long as it takes on Friday but would try not to make too much noise. The first machine is a whacker which compresses the soil before they start laying the bricks, lovely!
I just can't seem to concentrate on much at the mo with the tiredness. Next week he is on a fortnight of 6am to 6pm so still not good and he gets so tired and tetchy too I will try to go out most afternoons so he can get ready on his own, then I don't get the blame for making him forget something.

The wedding is on 28th August and I have yet to go out and get shoes and a bag and his shirt, he hasn't tried on his suit so might have to have a new one, and needs a white shirt by order of his son. Personally I think a pale lilac one would look better on him especially if he wears his dark suit, but the son thinks he should get a pale grey one to match his and the bestman and the father of the bride, I don't think it matters about father of the groom matching, it's such a casual wedding so not as if it's posh stuff.
Oh well, will see what happens when he tries the other suit.

Whatever he wears, he will spill something down the front soon as look at him lol He's messy like that!

Will catch up with folk soon, just need to get a bit more sleep first, so apologies if I have not yet thanked you for cards etc I will get round to it.

take care all, I hope everyone copes with all being thrown at them and apologies for not responding to everyone's posts at the mo.

love
Lizxxx
