i got all my pressies today,

i got a plant
a food proccesser
and 2 ds games.

i asked for a new washing line, pole and prop. didnt get it LOL

I think I will get 3 or 4 cards (hope so anyway & I will treasure them all) and a nice evening with all my babies and my gorgeous oh cooking us a lovely meal.

If not, I'll be on here weeping & wailing and snarling at anyone who stands still long enough, lol

I'd like 5 mins peace and quiet and a couple of homemade cards.

What I'm likely to get is a present OH chose at the last minute ........something totally pointless lol and 2 home made cards plus lots of noise ! xx

My daughter usually books me in for either ,a Indian Head Massage,a facial ,or manicure.Heaven,especially a head massage.

I had some lovely flowers today from the son of my best friend (who died).I'm like his second Mum,and I was very touched.He carried them all the way on the train from London.

Yesterday, my daughter rang me at work on my mobile:

"mam, are you going back to the office this afternoon?"

"yes, why?"

"I was wondering if you could look something up on the internet for me"

"I've got more things to do at work, and, by the way, so have you. If you take 100% of your salary, you should give work 100% of your time. I'll ring you when I get back to the office, but it'll be quick"

Then, on the way back to said office, phone call from my administrator:

"Sue, are you coming back to the office?"

"Yes; why, is there a problem?"

"No, just wondering"

Tongue nearly bitten through.

But when I got back to work, there was this enormous bouquet. Obviously daughter and Barbara in cahoots.

How many slices of humble pie can one person eat? (and, believe me, I ate them all in full view!)

The flowers are beside me as I write - all my favourites and the scent is wonderful.

So, what do I want for mother's day? Nothing. I've got it all.
