Oh B**... just realised the date... I was so wrapped up in finding my cousin (he died as a toddler, I thought.... but no, he was just a tiny baby) that I had forgotten the date... it is my dad's birthday... better go and get him a card and a carton, lololol! And I have an Ancestry problem... not sure how to resolve it, so will put a numpty techno thread up, lolol!!

my two are both stretched out in the sun lol on my bed

lol..... see, it is happening already... but please bear in mind that you had *upped* their food ration... so they might be away for another week, thinking they had provided enough? lolol Poor Jackson!

Good morning all!


Duty done! I'm getting really attached to next doors moggies - they are so sweet and like little bookends - Stripe has a little stripe down her nose, but apart from that it's hard to tell them apart. They bounce down the drive to greet me (well yes, it's the grub they are after I appreciate that) but they also like a bit of fuss!

It's amaizng how quickly cats can get into a routine, isnt it? I just hope when their owners return it's the right routine - lol They should be home today (the owners that is) - if not I shall have to filch some of Jackson's Go-Cat for the twins and that wont make me popular with the boy!

I dont think I've been over-feeding them (although Misty does look a bit podgier - lol) and their coats are shining nicely now which they weren't before.

Off to get me barnet sorted - I hate it went my hairdresser goes on hols, cos it always seems to coincide with me looking like a Bisom in a Fit!

Have a good weekend everyone - dont do anything that I wouldnt do.

Star, I am sure he'll get used to it soon.... slightly different, I know, but I had a new crown fitted a couple of weeks ago, and it has taken a couple of weeks to get used to it.... it still takes me unawares at times, and my jaw sort of jolts together... a bit like when you mis-time the steps and jolt, lol I am so pleased that your daughter's difficulties have at last been recognised... has she had a statement yet? Or is this just the school recognising it at last?

Hi my children are allfine one of my boys has had braces fitted he is not coping very well but i am sure he will eventually get used to it. Also the secondary school has finally acknowledged that my daughter has learning difficulties including a poor short term memory so hopefully things will improve.

Afternoon girlies!!


Well good on you Daff!!! I'll have one with your name on it tonight, if you dont mind? Keep up the good work girl............cos it's obviously working well. I'm delighted that the news was good, I really am.


I've had a begger of a week - Monday friend who is having chemo was really poorly (but she's feeling much better now thank the Lord),

Tuesday my brother collapsed on the golf course with suspected heart attack (but, he's OK and back home now - something to do with his medication)

Wednesday went to see brother in hospital and the car park was full to overflowing and the traffic surrounding the hospital was reminiscent of the Arch de Triumph - manic and just as dangerous )))) Eventually found a spot and had to pretend I was attending the Clinic where the parking space was! norty I know, but otherwise I would be circling the hospital still. When I finally got to his bed I said shove over, my need is greater than yours!

Thursday had to get a flyer designed and emailed to the local Printers for a deadline, only to find that when after spending ages with no imagination forthcoming I managed to complete a worthy offering, the blessed thing kept bouncing back from their email address!!!! I'm hopeless on all things to do with computers so had to rush to print off hard copy and hand deliver it!

Today??? well after rising late I found next doors cats were prowling like little lions waiting for their grub and I was told off good and strong by both of them! I could have sworn the owners were only going on hols for a week - lol lol This is end of week 2!

Morrisons was full of the most objectionable people on the planet - the McVities Digestive Half-covered biscuits which keep me sane were not on offer any longer, and I forgot to get some dog biscuits for my grand-doggie!

This reads like a load of old tosh dont it? and so it is, compared with what a lot of others have to deal with on a daily basis, and I'm ashamed to be moaning - but I do feel better for getting it off my chest!)))

Your news has cheered me considerably though, and I'm just waiting now to hear how our Jean has got on today - hopefully some better news that earlier this week.
