Be careful buying from Aus...

A friend, who is far from stupid, bought her daughter 2 pairs for Xmas. When they arrived they were not the 'real' UGGS. When she questioned the supplier she was told UGG was a generic name for a sheepskin boot in Aus..... Maybe some of our Aussie friends can confirm. Anyway long story short, they were advertised as Ugg boots, they were not particularly nice when they arrived and said daughter will not wear them... My friend paid €150 for the 2 pairs and wasnt impressed, especially when they took 8 weeks to arrive.

Does she want 'real' ones?? I would have said at 10yo she would 'make do' with a generic pair from an ordinary shoe shop?? My 15yo daughter bought a pair in Primark for €8...

love T.x

Thank you for your reply

Hi Jackie

Sorry I was a bit quick of the mark there when I saw the Ugg mentioned and was trying to be witty (less).

I'm sure someone on here will come up trumphs for you or point you in the right direction so your granddaughter isn't disappointed.

You need to talk nicely to Uggers.

I think he is the heir to the company. Maybe he can help.

Hi
My 10 year old granddaughter saw some Ugg boots on ebay and her mum put a bid in for her, she was winning right up to 5 seconds before the auction ended when someone outbid her too late for mum to put another bid in, all I know is they are called ugg clobber boots, granddaughter as you can guess is heartbroken at the moment.

Thank you
Jackie
