I will be back later when no one is around.....

It took so long for each page to come up all I have done is try and catch up.

Love to All, sorry I haven't had a chance to talk with you Amanda.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ to Janet and our Carole.
Whilst looking through the posts I have not seen Pat or Pam for awhile. ?
Must away and get ready to go out - CC - Anya has been difficult to buy for since she was about nine. When she was nine it took us ages to realise why she wouldn't say what she wanted - she looked at the price and thought that's a lot of money. It wasn't that much at all but in her eyes it was. Whereas her older sister Maia is quite happy to have her grandparents spend and spend on her.
Cheers Persey
edit: Hi Allan......
Although I think most of us on this thread are careful, I thought I would pass this on for something to think about.
An item on TV showed that a young woman posted that she and hubby were going to see a show ‘tonight’. Forty five minutes after they left their home to go to the show, the burglars broke in and took what they wanted.
Fortunately, a surveillance camera had been set up and it revealed that one of the burglars was one of her online ‘friends’ – so she put the police onto them.
A good thing to remember. Don’t say WHEN you will not be home – talk all about it AFTER you have been!
If you have online ‘friends’, they have ‘friends’ who can see your comments and if you use your correct name, you might be in the phone book and that contains your address. Makes it easy for the thieves!
Good Evening Linda,
Oops I just realised the bread was ready so had to go and take it out.
No furniture Tec, I tried but they were watching.We had a very good time, but my legs are killing me, I had forgotten just how hilly Cragside is, we walked all over theplace
Tecwyn
Tecwyn Report 8 Aug 2010 22:10
Linda, Had your OH have taken the wheelbarrow, he could have trundled you around in that - thus sparing your legs - suggest that next time. :))
Glad you enjoyed the weekend.
the paths were all rock steps, meandering all over the hillside, I wouldn't fancy being wheeled about over those. The house is fantastic though, well worth seeing
SueMaid Report 8 Aug 2010 22:13
Hi, Linda - sounds like a nice break. Walking till you drop:-))
Tec - the party was good but hectic. Lovely to see party dresses on little girls and the manners of these little 4 y.o.'s were impeccable. Young parents who are obviously teaching their children politeness. Not one of these little ones called me by my first name - they all called me grandma:-))
there are some cute party dresses around Sue, I hop little Eve will have some. Her daddy has bought her a pretty little dress, although at the moment she is more comfortable in baby grows
It sounds a nice place Linda, I love looking around old houses.
Have you ever been to Blenheim Palace?
You could always have a bunch of helium balloons under each arm, then OH could simply pull you along on a peice of string about three feet off the ground :))
I am in one of my silly moods - it will pass.
Glad the party was fun if hectic Sue - the little fan club I have near me are incredibly polite - their mother will only allow them to call me by my Surname - so I get greeted by this chorus of "Hello Mr xxxxxxxx, one after the other, it's quite funny.
