Good morning/evening all you chatty people.

Best wishes to the girls waiting for their exam results. I well remember those days. My sons were'nt overly stressed but my daughter was a nervous wreck.

Linda - Berona was referring to the town of Griffith's reputation of being the drug centre of NSW during the 70's and 80's. We were well used to stories of the dreadful murders and the gangsters that ruled the area. It is a lovely town and the surrounding countryside is also lovely. The big story that dominated the news for a long while was the disappearance and without doubt the murder of a strong anti-drug campaigner called Donald McKay. There were many characters portrayed in a series called Underbelly - Tale of Two Cities (Sydney and Melbourne).

What a lovely surprise Tec - a visit from your daughter and granddaughter. A wicked sense of humour? Now who does your granddaughter take after?

It is so good to have daughter and Grand daughter here - I wouldn't describe my sense of humour as wicked, so much as weird, I find the strangest things funny - so I hope it's not me she takes after.

I hope they've cleaned up the town of Griffiths, so everyone can live in peace.

Goodmorning Sue, though ( I don't really know you ) if the you know who is looking in lol. I think Linda is in a bit of a Jam, what with Tec and her freezer, she like's hanging around in her's,( my feeble attempt at making a joke ) I think I'll leave the joke's to Allan Tec and CC.

Linda I just had a small salad with bread and butter for my ( tea-supper ) and feel nicely full.

Linda I tend to eat when I'm hungry or remember I haven't eaten, not really a good idea eating so late I know. I only have my tea at the right time on a thursday when my daughter visit's as I have a reason to cook a meal. My son get's his own meal's so I tend to eat when I feel hungry.

I told you all earlier this week about the my daughter's employer and the dreadful things she said to my girl. Well she's gone one step further. She sent my daughter an email and fired her. As my daughter is in Hobart for a few days visiting her brother it came as a shock to her as you can imagine. My daughter's partner's father is a retired solicitor and he was amazed at how it was done and feels she has a case for unfair dismissal.

I am sure that she will have a case for unfair dismissal Sue, I hope she takes it up to stop this woman doing it to any one else. Did anything come of the job offer nearer to where she lives?

Good evening/morning all.

Still having problems with the computer. Now Hotmail is playing up. It will not let me send any compressed photos but I can attach files.

The problem is that many of my earlier phots are all fairly large and need the compression.

We are off to Nannup on Sunday as OH's choir is singing in the Festival. I'll just set the camera to the lowest quality to reduce the size of the pics.

Tec, that was a pleasant suprise for you regarding your daughter and granddaughter.

I think you need your own lap top for Christmas Amanda, then you can be on line without your children wanting their turn

Linda - she can have a job at this place near her home and she intends taking up the offer. This stupid woman hasn't paid the staff for 2 weeks and my future SIL's dad said that alone could land her in big trouble. In a way I felt uneasy that she was working for a family friend of her partner's - now I know why.
