Sue .... looking at the link , I guess we have some of those plants for sale here in England as houseplants . I assume you will have yours outside ?

Good for you having a " lazy day " LInda : )

Hello Allan .... I can't comment on your politics as I know nothing ....lol

It has been very humid here again today but we escaped any rain .
I had a lovely day as I had a visitor . Teresa ( TW ) from here came and had a few cups of tea and we chatted for hours . It was lovely to meet her : ))

Good Morning Allan,
Hope you are well, and your good lady of course.

I don't understand the Australian parliamentary set up, but was this man Tuckey running WA?

Thanks Diane, we are both fine.

Tec.

Amanda I saw on FB that you had a lovely day with TW. How nice for you. Yes in Aus. bromeliads are outdoor plants but can be brought in in flower.

Linda - it's nice to have a lazy day. I see you were able to find some information in Huddersfield. It was good that your friend was able to find enough to further her research.

I'm just a bit worried about the weather.

Nannup is a very pleasant spot when it is fine, but can be cold and miserable when it rains!!

Sue, your plant hunting obviously went well for you.

I have been following new leads on my own tree based on what I found. I think I might have tracked down the death for my elusive great grandmother. I have already bought two wrong certs for her,so hopefully it will be third time lucky

I am tired so I will wish you all goodnight now

Hello Tec, fortunately not.

Good old Wilson is now an ex liberal member of Parliament who has lost his seat to a Nationalist. He (Wilson) is seventy odd and vowed never to retire.

Originally I think that he was a pub owner in Geraldton. His nickname was "Iron Bar' Tuckey from his practice of keeping such an implement under the bar to deal with any troublemakers, and use it he did!!

good morning Allan
hope it does'nt rain and you have a great time.

Tec if you put in Liverpool 1 you wiil find site's about it. You would'nt reconise part's of Liverpool now as there has been a lot of changes over the last five yrs and as for the dock's area the view from the other side of the mersey ( the wirral ) has changed so much because of all the new developement's that have been built.

Linda that sound's like a fine day to me.

Amanda that was nice to meet one of the gang off here, doe's she live near you.

Well I had better shovel some more coal into our steam driven car.

Many thanks to you all for your good wishes for our sojourn to Nannup.

Photos will be taken, rain or shine!!

Take care all and enjoy your rest or your day, depending on geographical location.

Sounds like a man of great charm Allan lol. I really do think there should be an age limit to all politicians - some elderly politicians are more than capable of course, and draw on their experience, but many are not.

I hope you enjoy the trip to Nannup, and that the weather is not too bad.
