Tec I think 2 against 1 is enough, especially as your on your own at the moment. I was a bit shocked at your earlier sentence, I hope your OH wasn't looking over your shoulder or you may have felt that hammer on your head.

Our nearest market is on Mondays, but finishes in September for the season. There is only one fruit and veg stall, but it's quite good, well better than the supermarket, and cheaper.
From September to March it's back to the supermarket.

Our market is there all year in all weathers. there used to be two fruit and veg stalls, but now there is only one. It is an excellent one though, they have a base on the trading estate and a fleet of vans. they also supply lots of the restaurants and small shops over a wide area.

Any way Tec,you have spent your career at sea, so don't try and play the innocent

When the cherries come into season there is a stall that sells them very cheaply. You always get a few bad ones but they always put an extra handful into the bag after they've weighed them.

I used to be able to pick up very nice china bits and pieces but people now see them as antiques and old wares and put the price up. It's silly because as it's a trash and treasure market people aren't prepared to buy them.

Morning all - here I am sitting in amongst the rubble today. Black and decker ready for work. We were all set to attend gib board classes today (Sun) - they were advertised on the board at Bunnings on Thursday. Yesterday whilst we were there OH noticed they had rubbed the notices off the board turns out they were last weeks and we missed it. Today is making something for Dad for fathers' day.
