A Doctor proclaimed the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.

So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of shhardonay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of vocka, a pockage of Prunglies, tha mainder of botal Prozic and Valum scriptins, the res of the Chesescke an a box a choclits.

Your Baileys is safe with me Berona, I can't stand the stuff.

I hope Sue and Perse haven't spent too much today. Despite what she says I can see Perse adding to her property empire, she enjoys renovations so much you know. As for Sue, shopaholic isn't in it.

I don't like Baileys straight, but I do love it flavouring milk! However, I'm supposed to drink only skim milk and I haven't tried that.
So - what did the shopaholics do to-day? I suppose Sue bought another pair of shoes and another potted plant - and Persey bought another house.
I'm glad I don't go shopping any more. Lord knows what I would end up with!

Shopaholic!?! All I bought at the markets was a beautiful cut glass vase, a glass cake plate, some green beans and brussel sprouts, a rhubarb pie.....and yes a potted plant......well two potted plants. They are orchids just about to burst into bloom and I only paid $10 for the two. I resisted the books as I have too many to read.

You see, I knew that you would buy things Sue.

It is incredibly windy here, the lawn is covered in leaves and lots of apples are falling from the trees.

Luckily I picked the rest of the cooking apples from the tree on the allotment yesterday. We also have two eating apple trees but they were not quite ready yet and I was going to leave them until we came back from holiday. No doubt lots of them will be on the ground now. I will have to go down later on and rescue what I can.
