Good Evening Diane - Hope you're well today.

We also had very strong winds today, blew a few of my tubs over in the garden, but the day was sunny, and quite warm. Cool tonight though.

I'm never sure how far to go with my tree. For example, my paternal Gt Grandmother had 12 siblings, I have the marriage partners of most of them, and their children. But do I need them on my tree?
Should I ever get around to having my tree made into readable form (off the computer) would I need, or even have room for all those people?

Tec.

Hello everyone .....I haven't back read the thread so I can't comment on anything that needs commenting......except I'm wondering why Tec has red cheeks ??

I'm a bit " shell shocked " tonight as I was up most of the night with baby Emily , having said I would babysit I hadn't realised she was going back into one of her coughing phases . She kept me up most of the night as I had her in the bed with me ( she coughs until she vomits ) and I dare not leave her in her travel cot ......I'm feeling old and haggard tonight ...lol
Emily was a bit grizzly but bright enough this morning , I wish I had her vigour...bless her .

The wind here today has been mighty , to say the least , a good day to stay snuggled up indoors .

You can choose which people to include in the book reports Tec, so it doesn't matter if you have more on your computer
I keep meaning to stop, but then end up adding others. The line I was doing this evening is part of OH's side. They all lived in a tiny village,so were all neighbours. I see the names on the census sheets, so it is nice to know that they were all inter related....

The funny thing I find is that as I'm the one researching OH's family I often feel that they are my ancestors. I find them so interesting and have quite a few photos of them. I know so much more about them than any living member of OH's family:-))

Hello Amanda. My mum always said that nature makes you have your babies while you are young enough to cope with them. I guess you have found out that she was right.

I just have one large tree with OH's ancestors on it as well. As they are my children's ancestors, i think of them as mine aswell

Poor you Amanda - and poor Emily. Best keep her out of the wind. Hopefully you'll manage to get a good night's sleep tonight.

On the other hand we had a lovely sunny warmish day yesterday (Sunday). The grandkids came over for a couple of hours and were running around in t-shirts. It really feels like spring is just around the corner as I'm sure Autumn is on the way for you.

It's funny Linda - sometimes I forget that they are my children's family too. I'll be telling them about MY great grandfather or great great aunty and have to remind myself that they are their ancestors too.

Tec by mistake I answered your question on earlier post lol.

Your not wrong there Linda.....lol......I'll sleep like a log tonight Sue as I'm having some sups of Rum to help me on my way......lol

Have you decided on which Sunflowers to get your Grandkids to grow Sue ? You'll have to keep us gardeners informed of the progress as we will be hungry for the thought of new shoots as we stumble into the winter time .

I'll make sure my daughter keeps Emily out of the wind , it has been so blowy today it has taken my breath away .

Hello Amanda,
Hope you catch up on your sleep tonight - poor Emily.
I frequently feel old and haggard, but I don't do any baby sitting lol.

Red cheeks! - The girls on here were being very naughty last night, they thought they had embarrassed me, but they hadn't - they couldn't!!!

Diane I hope you get some good info from your sister.

Amanda - I bought a packet of seeds called Dwarf Sunsation that can be grown in pots. So each one has his/her own pot. They all wanted to keep watering them yesterday:-))

There you are Sue, Tec was trying to plead innocence last night and now he has just admitted that he couldn't be embarrassed.

I am certain we could embarrass him Sue, but mindful of the thread,I don't think we should try. Anyway it wasn't us who wrote the original thing, now was it Tec?

Evening Diane and Tec ....... I'm not expecting to be about for long tonight , I'm starting to feel like I need matchsticks to prop my eyes open ....lol

Apparently our weather is going to improve mid-week !! well that's what the met office forecast says , I'll believe it when I actually see it but if the sun does come back out , it's not to late for us to go back into a mini melt down is it ? or am I being overly optimistic ?

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 29 Aug 2010 23:04

Not embarrassed!?! You were too, Mr Tec. You don't really think you can make a comment like that and not be teased about it:-))

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what I wrote, not my fault if it was mis-interpreted. Don't get drawn into this Amanda, the terrible three will lead you astray.
