I am absolutely shattered tonight as well Amanda, though I have no reason to be.
I am going to turn in now because I keep making mistakes typing and have to correct them.

How exciting Sue : )) I just love it when kids grow seeds , you'll have to get all technical with them and explain that too much water is not good , then they will limit the flow in the future . Have the plants all been labeled as which is whose ? If they have then well done : ))

I did manage to peep in last night and I saw Tecs literary " slip up " ...I was sniggering to myself to be honest......but I believe you ladies are all very naughty as he said what he said in complete innocence ( I think ? ....lol )..............it was funny though .

Yes the plants have been labelled. I have some lilly bulbs from last year that are starting to sprout again so they were very interested in those. It's a good lesson for them to learn. Aimee and Joel have been involved in growing vegetables at their pre-school. The produce is used in the kitchen for their lunch.

Sorry to hear about little Emily - Amanda - it really knocks them for six when that happens. Sometimes though they can have you up most of the night and the next morning they are up and at 'em whilst you are struggling around looking absolutely shattered.

Good luck Sue with your gardening lessons , I think it's great that pre-school have already sown the seeds with your young ones : )) It's been my experiance that as the kids get older they lose interest ....but you never know if the seeds that are sown in childhood will re-appear and catch their interest later on in life : )) I bought my girl a few packets of blubs ( to plant outside her flat ) , I'm just waiting for her to say " oh yeah Mum , by the way I planted the bulbs "......then in the Spring she will get the buzz of seeing them in flower .

This Kiwi is off to a rental property today - new tenants move in tomorrow - we have uplifted all the tiles from the bathroom and our builder was supposed to be coming last week to put in a new floor ( they will make them out of particle board and the water gets in and it swells goes bouncy and eventually rots) - he couldn't make it and so the poor tenants will have a less than desirable flooring to walk on. Sometimes two weeks between tenants is just not long enough when there are things to do.
