I was given generic cheap tablets from a locum once - I had to take them till they finished (seven days) - I felt like a clockwork toy my batteries went into overdrive - I rang him - keep taking the tablets - on the sixth day I came out in a rash all over - I rang him - oh stop taking immediately usually a rash will happen first if you are allergic.
My actual Dr at the time - now retired (Chinese) said locum was being a good NZ dr and saving money.
I have a woman doctor now and she sends me anywhere and everywhere you get a thorough going over - cost to the government is the least of her worries.

Good night Amanda, hope you have a better night's sleep hun

Hi Perse, don't some Dr's annoy you, ( leaflet indeed ) should have at least have recommended natural remedy like Calm's Tablet's ( which can work as a temporary measure ) while she got something else sorted out.

Good morning Berona, I don't know first time we have had a chance for a chat and you start by telling me off ( feel unloved ) :) yes I'm in work tomorrow and yes it is time I was thinking of turning in for the night but as I have just posted ( which I know you won't have read before you posted ) before you tell me off again, I had a sleep earlier.
Hope you have a nice sunny day and that the temp pick's up. Haven't seen Tec this evening. hope he and OH are alright.

Doing the dishes has taken on a new meaning - had to navigate myself between a jemmy, glue gun, drill, nails and hammer plus scrunched up newspaper. (don't ask)

Then I went to put my not very old little teflon pan (just does two steaks quite nicely size) into the pot drawer and it slid off the side onto the floor and the handle snapped off. I can see now I should've done as I am told and gone to welding classes.

Waves to Tec in case he is watching ~~~~~~

Persephone Report 7 Sep 2010 23:50

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four people is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

Diane Report 7 Sep 2010 23:58

Afternoon everyone,
It's sunny here. I walked to the dentist this morning. I didn't have to have anything done.
I don't think that I'll see the Stieg Larsson films. I prefer the books.
i was wondering where Tec was as well.
i went to bed early last night becasue I had a headache. It's gone now though.

Good Evening from the cave.

I have never been in any doubt of my insanity, and thinking of those that I know to be sane, who seem to take themselves, and life generally, much too seriously, I would much prefer to wear my insanity with distinction.

Today was spent painting the cave. This is not without its aggravations. The bat droppings keep falling in the paint, and while Artex is one thing, those stalactites are an absolute menace. As fast as you paint them the paint drips off the end into puddles on the floor of the cave.

I hope everyone is well, and that you all had a good day, or a good night, depending on which way up you are.

Tec.

Good evening to the evening folk and Morning to the morning folk.

Hello Tec .
That cave of yours sounds like a right bother when it comes to decorating , rather you than me ......lol

We have been shifting some junk etc today ( which is always a pleasent and liberating thing to do ) , I'd been lumbered with a very large arm chair by one of the daughters , she'd insisted on having it and then decided she didn't and it had been put in my " craft " room , the dogs liked it ( as it's a sunny little room ) , so I'd put up with it being there but today was the day to take it too the dump ...... now I can actually get in the room again......lol

SueMaid Report 8 Sep 2010 21:56

Hello Tec and Amanda.

You've both been busy painting and moving stuff. Bat drooppings in the paint? Not a good look I'm afraid.

Lucky you Amanda if you have a craft room. We have a spare room but the grandchildren have decided that's their room for playing. It does have their toy box and craft stuff and a spare bed for the odd stay over.

Hello Sue ...... I call it my " craft room " , it's meant to inspire me to go and be creative . I've assembled all my making things in there .......but then that CHAIR arrived and blocked it up ( it is only a small room ) , also the travel cot is in there ( but at least that folds up when not in use ) .
I really need a decent table in there and am keeping an eye out for one of those drop leaf ones .
