Ianto is the name of a character in Torchwood. It's a lovely name.

My dog's called Molly - a common name for little dogs apparently. She is a sweet little dog but being little people mistake her for a puppy and tell their children to pat her. I'm always concerned that she gets a little growly at times.

Tec - our Amanda is indeed a talented lady:-))

Pat , we never meant to end up with three , we had a lovely Deerhound lurcher but when he was 18 months old he got bone cancer and we decided to have him put to sleep ( we where offered an op to remove his leg and shoulder but a 70% chance the cancer would return ) , so we went and got Milo , then two years later someone begged us to take on Willow ( she had been half starved and neglected , she was 12 weeks old when we got her and a sad little creature ) , two years down the line we let them have one litter of pups . 8 bitches and 1 dog !!! We kept Bandit ( female ) and had Milo " seen to " ........he will be 10 soon , bless him : )

.Pat - I'm not sure if Ianto means anything - it's a Welsh boys name.

I love the names of your dogs Amanda, and yours Sue.

I am not au fait with dogs at all. OH's father was very good with them and they had them on the farm but I have never had one of my own. My dad said they are not for the city - his dog was called Bark. A bit of a mongrel breed - I suppose if he was pedigree he would have been called Bach.

Tec you could accumulate the droppings from the bats and the drippings from the stalactites and creat stalagmites in various shapes (just for your craft room of course).

Morning Sue.
Evening Pat, Amanda and Tec.

Am waiting for my link to Amanda's garden....

Good Morning Perse,

That's a good idea with the bat droppings - could sell them as Welsh Art to the tourists lol.

Didn't someone win the Turner Prize a few years ago with a painting made of elephant droppings ? You could be the next big thing in the art world Tec ...lol

Tecwyn Report 8 Sep 2010 23:15

Amanda,

People have won the Turner Prize with all sorts of extraordinary things in the name of art.
Who are they kidding?

Amanda2003 Report 8 Sep 2010 23:18

Tec ..... I definitely think some of the artists are kidding people with very big wallets and not much sense ........the mind boggles sometimes at peoples idea of art .

One of our tourist attractions is the public toilets at Kawakawa. They were designed by Hundertwasser (bit of a long name for a dog).... but he didn't use droppings.

We had a cat called Russell - we sort of got him from OH's uncle's deceased estate - we named him that because he was Rustling around in a paper bag. We took him to the vet for a checkup and the vet's name was Russell... the receptionist thought it funny. Russell didn't - he was more concerned about the dog sitting next to him.

I will have a look and get back to you later - thanks Amanda and people I am much cleaner now - had a shower between posts.

It'sso weird Amanda - a pile of bricks - a cow preserved in a tank of formaldahyde sp, and it's declared a fantastic work of art - rubbish.
Art to me is a beautiful painting, sculpture, stained glass window etc.

Well I'm off to bed now.
I wonder where Diane has gone?
Enjoy your day Sue, Perse, and Berona,
sleep well Amanda, Diane,
Goodnight,
Tec.
