Hi Tec, yes I did hun sorry I didn't mention your post about it,
they are lovely cat's and and as you say the site about them is interesting. I'm not a hundred per cent sure she is but she has all the feature's of one.
I have a couple of pic's of her on my lappy but they are of when I had to cut all her fur off as she was very mattered when we first got her, my son is going to put some more on my lappy so when he does I will e-mail them to you. The one's I have already look funny and I will include them as well when I send the other's.

I'm having some trouble with this site so if I disappear you'll know why. It's very slow and very frustrating.

No Sue it hasn't been proved - sad that 1,000s of badgers have to die because of a theory. They are very secretive creatures, and mostly nocturnal, though I have met one several times at the same place when walking my dog. I like them very much.

Look forward to the pictures Diane, shame having to cut his fur off, but best if it was matted.

No Tec have not been to Lord Howe Island - have just been looking at it on google.

OH always talks about going to Norfolk (him being related to that Fletcher Christian bloke) - so maybe I could say yes if we go to Lord Howe on the same trip it does look stunning and I think OH could easily be persuaded, if not I am sure there is a piece of four by two lying around that I can wack him with.

edit sorry I missed you going off to bed in batcave... good night Tec.

Perse - my son who was in the army went to Norfolk Is. once a year to work with young army cadets. He loved every minute he was there although he was working. He and his mates would hire bicycles and ride around the island. He was invited to dinner by the owner of a bookstore because he showed interest in the history of the island and had dinner at the Governor's house with the rest of the unit and the cadets. He's always telling us to go there.

My in laws went there, one of my best friends has been there, my friend that comes over from the USA every second year has been there ... so I guess I should put in an appearance. A girl I knew from school runs a B&B there, she contacted me once through Old Friends.

I think I should go to Stewart Island first - my USA friend has been there twice. It is the only place in NZ that I have not ventured to apart from the sounds (have been to Milford Sound of course) in Fiordland.

Well OH wants his hair cut so must go and do that.

Afternoon Pat, wish I could have joined you.
Came home from work at 3-30pm and then spent the next 3hrs washing and ironing, just sat down about 15mins ago and don't intend to do another thing except watch the X Factor and make my tea. Hope you enjoyed your lazy afternoon hun.

Hi Everyone,

Diane do please apologise to the cat for insinuating that she was a he - I bet she went off in a huff with her nose in the air lol.

Pat I also watch X Factor and find it very entertaining - some of the acts are so awful, they are funny. Occassionally someone turns up with real talent, and they deserve to be discovered.

Hi Pat
I did enjoy most of it but I was disappointed that they didn't show many of the good singer's, but it is for entertainment that they show all the rubbish one's.

Good evening Tec
I told her you were sorry and she sent a sloppy LICK on the arm for you, (she often lick's my arm ) after I have stopped strokeing her and then pushes my hand for me to stroke her again. She didn't sulk she just said to me ( silly man ) lol.
How are you and OH, good I hope.

Hi Diane - Glad I've been forgiven by your cat, tell her thanks for the lick lol.
We are both ok thanks. Expecting my daughter and SIL tomorrow. They are travelling a 200 miles round trip to borrow my tile cutter, and other tiling tools. They are tiling their bathroom. Would have been cheaper to go to Homebase near them and bought their own - still it will be nice to see them if only for a few hours.

Hello my friends - hope you are all well.

The day is shaping up nicely with blue skies and no wind. Yesterday was a lovely day although the breeze was cool. I pottered for awhile in the garden helping OH tidy up a little and then sat in the sun and read for a couple of hours.

I've been going through my recipe books looking for something different to cook for tea. I decided to cook Veal Scallopini. It turned out very nice and was pronounced a "cook again" meal.

Good Morning Sue,

Hope the day does stay fine for you.
The Veal Scallopini sounds interesting - is there room for another for dinner - I've got impeccable table manners lol.

Tec I was just thinking as I was reading your post that it would have been cheaper to go and buy what they wanted but as you said it will be nice to see them.

Good morning Sue, glad the cool breeze has gone, it can make a nice day not so nice if there is a chill in the breeze. I'm fine thank you as I hope you are too. Meal sound's nice though I don't recall ever haveing Veal, not surprising as I'm not a big eater of beef, I like it in stew or a steak Diane.

SueMaid Report 11 Sep 2010 21:59

Tec - it's a very tasty dish. Veal steaks with a rich sauce made with white wine and cream. Not to be eaten everyday but nice now and then.

Diane - we noticed when we've been in England that not many people are big beef eaters. We get some good reasonably priced beef here but we tend to eat chicken and fish more often.
