Hi Sue, Tec and Amanda~~

I too missed Di, was watching New Tricks on TV,
Hope everyone is well today.:)
I'm a bit tired done nothing much other than hang loadfuls of washing on the line it's been such lovely fine but windy day.
I was waiting in for the plumber ,who didn't show !! but couldn't do much around the house as my hand is being to play up more day by day, may have to start taking painkillers, but will check with the Dr first to see if there is any point.
I'm a Libra lady and 'quite typical' of the sign.lol if you believe what you read.

Good evening Sandie .....sorry to hear about your hand , is it something like carpal tunnel syndrome ? when you get a sort of numb fizzy hand ?

So , so far we have a Virgo , a Libra and two Aquarians .

Hi Sandie,

Sorry I went AWOL - lost internet connection, so had to shut down completely and re-boot.

When I did get back on, I must have clicked General Topics, and was puzzled as to why I couldn't find Aussie thread - it's a shame really, I expect they'll come for soon lol.

Yes Amanda,
But is a trapped Ulna nerve which can affect from your elbow downwards ,depending on where it's trapped, usually in the wrist and affects one's ring and little finger and all down the outside of the palm of the hand, plays my elbow up sometimes tho !.
Carpal T S tends to affect the middle of the hand and fingers and wrist.

My mum was a Libra lady and very much like me , my dad was a Taurus like my sister and they were soo similar .lol

Poor Tec - did you think we'd left you?

Amanda - I'm amazed at times how accurate some of the characteristics are for each star sign. I might add that I never read my star sign in papers or magazines.

Hi Sandy - sorry to hear about your hand.

Tec...... I'm pleased you've found your way back ....lol.....perhaps you've been sniffing to many of your lovely roses and it's affected your cognitive powers ?......lol

Sandie .....your trapped nerve sounds frightful , I only get a bit of the Carpal tunnel thing ( and thankfully that's only from time to time ) , is there anything the Dr can do ?

Amanda2003 Report 17 Sep 2010 22:48

Sue ..... I don't read the daily things for star signs either but there does seem to be something to the personality traits ( or do we just strive to pigeonhole folk ? ) .

Amanda my homing instinct is a bit rusty these days, but I get there in the end.

Sandie everything is fine in bandit country - most of the tourists have departed, so we can venture out of our cave again into the daylight.
Incidently, I was born in Sth Wales, but migrated North via Essex - long story.

Tec
Very sweet of you to give that lady a choice of your roses:)

Amanda and Sue. thanks for your concern, it's more of a nuisance really.
The Dr has referred me to a Orthopaedic Neurologist, the pain is worse whilst in bed and will wake me up, but since I read on the net to sleep with you arm straight it has improved:))

Must be very uncomfortable Sandy - hopefully the specialist may be able to sort it out.

I'm staying here - there appears to be a storm brewing on another thread:-)

My Dad was born in South Wales , a place called Gil Fach , Nan was born in Newport . My biggest ambition is to eventually visit these places , especially Barry Island as that looms large in my tree .

How could anyone deny a lady a red rose for her dead hamster?

I spotted that Sue .....there hasn't been a Friday night dust up on GR for ages has there . Shame that trouble has to be sparked up but I guess it's just human nature for some people : (

Lol, You've seen that one also have you Sue ?

As a Libran I keep well away :))

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 17 Sep 2010 23:00

My thoughts indeed, Tec. I often think that if a lady appeared at my door asking for a red rose for her dead hamster what would I do? I've got red grevilleas but that just wouldn't do.

Is that Gilfach ,Bargoed Amanda..?
If so it's about 15 miles from me, and Newport is 20.
Barry Island, on the coast is a place we always went to for our Sunday school trips,
