Hello Allan.

The spider I killed this morning - no fancy treatment here - was a white tailed spider. It's bite can cause all sorts of problems so I don't dilly dally. We had a big huntsman on the front verandah and I was ever so nice and brushed it off onto the grass. A couple of minutes later OH pointed out a magpie flying off with a spider legs hanging out of it's mouth:-)) You can't fight nature.

Good morning Allan ...... deep down I have to say that my idea of heaven is the beauty of spangled spider webs and nothing to create them : ))
My OH is rather clever at making things from metal , so on my side board is a spider that measures about a foot long !! I hate seeing it's shadow on the wall ........lol

Can we please change the subject now ?

Linda 50 pages !! you've got some reading to do then ....lol

The cases all have a label attached by the check in staff which has a bar code on it, they also peel off a small bar code and stick it on the case, so if the large sticker comes off, they still know where the case should be and who it belongs to. that doesn't stop a baggage handler putting the case on the wrong trolley though

The reading will have to wait until tomorrow or the next few weeks Amanda.

I am really tired,so will have to go to bed now.
We were due back at 11pm (midnight Croatian time) but the plane was late and then when we did get on, the head count showed that there was one more person on the plane than the boarding cards showed.

After you checked in you were given a boarding card and before going through the gate to get on the plane, they scanned the card and a green light appeared to show it had registered. One of the computers didn't seem to work well and they were harassed because the plane was late. they obviously let someone through without the green light showing.
It took them an hour and a half to sort it out,so we were back very late.

I will pay more attention tomorrow honestly when I have caught up with my sleep

Diane the Daddy long Legs has a very tiny body but very long thin legs.

Although it is a very venomous spider its fangs are so small and delicate that they cannot pierce human skin so they are totally harmless. They are usually found in garages and in rooms that have been closed for a while

Night Linda ..... I hope you both get a restful sleep . It will be nice to be back in your familiar bed after all your travels .

Tec , my neck is rapidly sinking into my shoulders ( like a tortoise ) and I'm developing a nervous twitch .....lol

I picked a beautiful red rose earlier today to put on my kitchen windowsill ( off my late Mums " beast rose bush " ) , I really ought to give the poor plant a feed , when is it best to feed Roses ?

Goodnight Linda,
Hope you catch up with sleep,
Tec.

Amanda I feed the roses in February/March as they are making new growth - then again when they are in bud - and later in mid season to get a more flowers after the first flush. Any commercial rose food will do. It really does make a difference.
Goodnight Amanda - sleep well - keep well.

I'm so pleased that you are having time off Diane. We all worry about you working so hard.

Amanda - you should've fed it around July/August I think. I'm trying to work out the opposite to Aus. Just before pruning I think and then again when they start waking up again after winter. Tec will know.

Goodnight Linda - sleep well as I'm sure you will.

I think we have a spider like that here, the small body is round, not sure it is a biter on though.

Sorry Amanda, I will not talk about sp****s anymore.

Good night Amanda sweet dream's

Sue I can't believe it is another 2wks, employer's mum is going over to the I.O.M on her own as employer is going into restbite, Her other son asked her to go back over as the last time she went he was at work while she was there so didn't see much of each other. Employer's restbite carer is able to have him again and suggested she went while she had him for 2wks. This will be the first time she has done this and I can't believe she has agreed to it. It will be a good rest for her to have her other son's family spoiling her.
