Linda ..... I'm sick of Beetroot now ....I ate so much of it when we first started to crop that I've reached saturation : (

I love beetroot - so will help out there.
I rather like it with crème fraiche, sometimes feta and if I don't have either I put sourcream on it.

You could take along your cake server to have at the ready Sue.... no better don't they might think you are very very wealthy and expect you to pay. :<}}

I like beetroot as a veg as well perse, but I will pickle most of it so it will last through the winter.

Be it good morning, good evening or Noswaith dda:)
Hair needs cutting and colouring ! So I 'decided' yesterday ( cos I have and inch of dark grey coming thro ) to go au natural. My 2 friends have done it and it looks great a steely grey. Mentioned it to hubby , he said , have it cut and then if you want to why not touch up the roots yourself. ( I begrudge the cost of the hairdressers costs now £50 and always did both myself for 30 odd yrs ).
So he obviously would prefer the colour I am now ! and thinking about it my 2 friends have straight hair, cut quite short whereas mine is curly and grows like a bush.. so bought a root touch up in T*scs today !!!lol
Don't think a grey bushy hairstyle would be very flattering!.
I told my 90 yr old aunt yesterday ( she still has hers coloured,) her reaction was.. 'Oh no San, don't do it, I like it as it is'.
She's like a mum to me :)) You have to listen you your mum's even when you're my age .LOL......

Tec, how did it go with the dog last night, better I hope.. if Mrs Tec gave him his orders.

Linda , we have a large garden but all our beetroot is out and eaten now , wish hubby had planted more, we love it.

Hello Sandy - I thought of going au natural but my hair isn't totally grey and it looks messy. One day I may go grey.....maybe:-)) The meeting is afternoon coffee and I've never been to one of those kind of meetings. Seems to be the done thing.
