Persey , that's quite interesting . I've never contemplated transplanted hair before ( it's incredible what the thread can get a person contemplating ).
Does the hair come from someone else then ? and how does it know when to go grey ? I'm going to have to google this one as I do like to gain knowledge even if I never actually need it ....lol

Sue ....have to taken bets as to what slant they will take this time ? You could do a sweep stake on that issue and use it as a fund raiser .......lol

Goodnight Linda - sleep tight.

People are always incredibly generous when asked to donate to a cancer charity. So many people are touched by it one way or another.

Exactly Sandy - which board indeed:-))

Clever idea Amanda - never thought of that lol

Goodnight Linda, I hope OH, and you, have a good night, and OH is better tomorrow,
sleep well.

Well as the nearest Tesc is 60 miles away, I certainly didn't go there, and anyway, why would I ?

Sue, It was obvious which thread you naughty girls were posting on - I just hope Berona doesn't go looking, but like me, she won't understand either.

Amanda one can only use one's own hair, so there is an incision made from the donor area and the hair is taken out by the roots and then just a little snippet is planted and they are planted in little rounds and when they first come through look like little patches of sprinkled pepper.

When I cut his hair I have to be careful because there are little bare bits underneath at the back and we don't want him to be known as "patchy"

I knew it the minute Linda mentioned Bed - the race is on for those Brits to get the best spot .... Diane is probably already in there.

It's good to know you are on holidays, Diane. You can do what you like, go where you like and SLEEP for a long as you want (which I hope you will do!).

Seems like everyone else has gone their merry way or is fighting for position in the "Brits' Bed".

I used a mid-brown colour rinse when I started going grey, but one time, I put the rinse through my hair and went off with my son to an early soccer match. Nobody said anything to me until son came off the feild and said "Mum - why is your hair green?". I couldn't get home quick enough to wash and wash it.

Another time when I was hoping to have another baby, and nothing was happening , I took my 3 y.o. into a shop and when we came to the checkout, the operator gave him the purchase and said "Are you going to carry this for Mummy?"...she then looked at me and said "Or is it Nanna?". Time for another rinse!!

Perse - I'm still laughting at your question "how does it know when to go grey?"
