Morning.... heading up to 8am here and the day (so far) is sunny
They had this weather predicter bloke on radio here yesterday and he is very accurate well 85% which is a lot closer than the weather bods. He was on about solar and lunar patterns, the equinox and nodes. He said that he knew (or should that be knowed - node) about the Christchurch earthquake an hour before it happened because of the nodes. He had now predicted floods up in Northland early next month and some other floods somewhere else. I will have to go and listen to it again on the net.
Apparently the moon is racing about and that is the problem with the weather. I think the moon needs to take a grip on itself... I don't mind it not being punctual providing we get better weather.

My knees creak at times.... and I still haven't been to physio with my foot... suppose not much use going there without it - though there are times I would like to leave it somewhere.

Good evening upside down people. it has been a glorious day here, but the weather is set to change from tomorrow. They are predicting lots of rain and much lower temperatures from now on,so summer is finally gone and autumn is here

I hurt my foot again Perse while I was on holiday. It is so annoying because it had finally stopped hurting. I stood on a door stopper and flexed the top of mu foot and felt the pain again, it just aches all the time now as it did before

Good evening Sandie
I will see how my hip is tomorrow and if it is still as bad I think I will go to A+E instead of waiting for a Dr's appointment. It is so annoying that I can't sit for very long and relax Doh.
I hope it doesn't take that long for you to get your referal to the Orthopaedic Neurologist hun.

Good moring Perse and Pamela.

Pamela you are so lucky to have such nice weather most of the time, to have the rain is welcome I would think as too much sun can be a bad thing.
Allan is showing his literary talent on another thread and doing it very well.

Perse hope you are enjoying the sunshine, today here has been quite pleasant but the rain came this evening. How is your foot at the moment hun, is it still bothering you, if so you should take it along to physio and be a good girl.

Hello Linda

I am far more on to it with the computer since it is in the kitchen at present.
It can't stay here though blocks my access to some shelves I have which house my cook books amonst other things.

Good evening Linda,
I was busy typing my post when you and Perse arrived and looking for us, you poor thing after all the time it took you to get your foot right, you must have a weakness with it so you should try and avoid door stopper's in the future.

You look after your own limbs Diane and get yourself right you are too young to have these complaints.

My foot has a mind of its own - seems to think I should wobble around when I am trying to put my jeans on. I stood up to take my jeans off and put my pyjama bottoms on the other night and was teetering and tottering... and as for going down a step, I have to stop and think about it or else I appear inebriated, careering all over the place.

I was worried last week when I took the bus to town - first time on a bus since the break - but with a lot of concentration I managed to get off the bus without disgracing myself.

Persey xx

I missed your other post about your foot, seems the least little thing can trigger it off. Enjoying yourself one minute full of the joys of spring tra la and then wump.

Baked Beans on toast.... my grandson would glady live on them. He loves egss, fish and baked beans. But his day starts with two weet-bix and a huge amount of cornflakes in a bowl with warm milk, followed by toast and then he is ready for the day.

Actually don't use my cookbooks much - I make up most of our meals as I go along but there is the odd thing now and then that I check out.

Hi Everyone,

I can take all your troublesome bits with me on Monday when I take OHs leg if you like.

I have had a busy day - but straight again now after sweeps visit - fell asleep watching Midsomer Murders this evening - but Barnaby has that effect on me.

Tec.

You poor lot - all aches and pains:-( Except a few of you who were discussing me and my posh ways after I left the thread. I can't help being a cut above and I'll have you know that fame and fortune never goes to my head.

I've had a contact through Ancestry who is descended from a sibling of my 2 x great grandmother. My contact told me a sad story about his great grandmother who was apparently tossed out of her Baptist family for having a child out of wedlock to a Catholic.

Morning Lady Suemaid

I hate to say it Sue but that will do it everytime. Even today people get banished/shunned because they don't fit into the percepted "accepted behaviour" and sometimes it is from people who did not live blameless lives themselves. i am often surprised that those that I least expect it from are the harshest.
