Sue - I've had a brilliant idea - why not have a re-run of the party at your house next weekend - good excuse for a party - and you can re-take all the photo's - I am a genius sometimes.

We have Twitchers groups here too. I'm not that keen but I love seeing them in the garden. We had to stop feeding the magpies because they became very demanding. They would actually come onto the verandah and call out to us and tap on the window if we didn't come out. They still visit now and then. We have native plants in the front garden so we can watch the honey eaters feed on the grevillea flowers.

Great idea Tec - I don't think:-)) I went over to my daughter's yesterday to help clean up. The men had done the heavy work first thing in the morning and as the children were spending the day with their father we were able to wash floors and generally tidy up very quickly. We then could sit over coffee and cake and gossip to our heart's content.

I like the sound of the Honey eaters Sue but not so keen on the Magpies .

Near the Asda I mentioned is a body of water ( Breydon Waters ) it's a tidal Estuary and it has SSSI status , there are usually lots of wading birds to be seen . It is a rather beautiful area .

Been doing, and will be tomorrow doing a bit of retail therapy.

Son came back from Ibiza with a sports Breo Roam watch ( google it ).
I always wear a quite heavy solid gold bracelet on my left wrist and a therapeutic magnetic one on my right, so haven't worn a watch for a while.
This Breo watch hubby has now bought me has a strap like rubber ,which has Touramaline in it , supposed to be beneficial for health !! I can wear it on my right hand and it goes well with the silver magnetic braclet
Take that with a pinch of salt ... Mine is the Breo XL,in black wider than the Roam, ! have small hands and wrists so had to have the smallest size , kiddies !

Hubby has been asking if I have ordered the Clogau gold ring, but will double check the size tomorrow and then order it straight away:)))

It is my b'day on the 28th so watch and ring can be my pressies :))

Goodnight Amanda - sweet dreams to you both.

I've just had a look at the watches Sandie. I don't think I've seen them before. You're being spoiled for your birthday with a lovely watch and ring.

Sorry Tec.....

I thought you would notice me behind the Wollemi Pine. I was going to ask "Does my b*m look big in that? "

I liked your forces story and Amanda's rescue story "All Boys' Own Annual" stuff very spiffing.

I see you have been up to your old tricks Sue - Coffeeing and caking again!!!

Isn't it clever what these computer and camera people can do? Then I ask myself why are these cards designed so that you and I can't retrieve and these people can.
I think my OH has lost some pics from quite sometime ago, they were there on the computer but when I went to find one they had gone. I am hoping they are on the zip drive out the back in the sleepout (which is flash name for a store room)

Spiffing? Have you put that on Rose's thread about words we don't use anymore.

Tec - when we were on our cruise we passed an Australian Navy ship. Our captain - or I should say commandant - told us that he had sent a message of greeting to them but they ignored it:-)) Maybe they weren't supposed to be sailing in the lovely Pacific waters so close to Noumea.

Persey- Spiffing goes rather well with Jolly Hockey Sticks - What Ho Chaps.

Sue -Navy ships can be sniffy about merchant ships I've found - snobs.

Enjoy your Monday Sue, Persey, Berona,
Sleep well Sandie,
Diane I hope you're feeling better if you look in,

Thanks for the pm Perse:) explains why said person is no longer around.

Nite Amanda, sleep well:)

The watches are cheapies Sue, son has bought another one on E bay since coming home from hols. But they are comfortable to wear and won't scratch my bracelet.( silver magnetic)

In my teens I was known for having a large number of outragous watches !
Dau follows me , but to a larger extent , she has 25.!!
