Diane - if you're still here - you shouldn't be! If you are last to go to bed, there won't be any room for you and you will have to sleep upside down and their smelly feet will be in your way. Off you go!

G'day folks~~~
From a wet and windy South Wales.

The leaves are still on the trees, turning red and gold, but it feels as if we've skipped Autumn and gone straight into Winter..ugh.

Hope everyone is as well as can be expected, preferably better than we would like.
I've always suffered with cold hands, I used to play hockey in the real cold with a pair of leather lined gloves topped with sheepskin mits !! and They were still white with cold when we finished the game.lol
This trapped Ulnar nerve in my right hand is irritating and can be painful at night or if it is cold, so I'm not looking forward to the depths of winter , just hope my apt with the Orthopaedic Neurologist comes thro pretty soon. I was referred in Aug and they have a 16-20 week waiting list !!
Grizzle over.lol

Have a good day everyone:)) whether you are up and about yet, same to all ☺☺

I am just popping in while all is quiet, little Eve is sleeping like a baby, as expected because she is a baby. My daughter, having had a disturbed night is also having a sleep, well I did warn her that eating curry last night may not have been a good idea, it seems Eve doesn't like curried milk.

It is a really grotty day here as well Sandie, cold and raining,so we are staying in and hoping tomorrow will be better

Linda ~~~

You must be in your elements with little Eve to dote on:))
And it must be reassuring for your dau to know that you are there while she sleeps. When I had my first, whenever she slept so did I, she had colic for the first 6 weeks, which always started about 7pm, so hubby used to have her then when I went to bed.
I was like a fighting Ox on my son, he was 9lb 4and sleeping thro at 3weeks....and no colic ! I fed them both , but what a difference.lol. Dau was 8lb tho but a mere tot compare to son.lol

Just came back from the hairdressers, just a dry cut and am quite pleased !
I'd prefer the dentist to the hairdressers, didn't have a colour but I have root touch up ready in the bathroom, if I get desperate.lol

Speak soon

Hi Linda - Hope Eve had a good long sleep for you, and has a better night. Not surprised she doesn't care for curried milk lol. What she wants is a nice Welsh lamb chop to chew on - hope the weather is better tomorrow.
Big cwtches to little Eve.

Hi Sandie - The weather was awful here today (Mae'n pistyllio ac wyntog)
The central heating went on for the first time today. We don't have mains gas, but LPG tank in the garden.

Good morning/evening from a cold, wet and slightly breezy Spring? morning. I think Spring has come and gone:-(

Remind me not to go shopping with mum for awhile. She has more energy than me. I was exhausted by the time I got home and then she rang me later in the afternoon to tell me she had been gardening. I had a nap:-))

Good evening/ morning anyone

No one around yet,

Hi Linda, I wish I'd had a mum like you around when I had my babies, I too used to have a kip when mine had a sleep. I was lucky with my 3 and can honestly say I didn't have a sleepless night with any of them, they would wake for a feed and then go straight back to sleep. ( Lucky me )

Sandie how are you hun, hope your wrist is a bit better and I hope it doesn't take the full waiting time before you get an appointment.

Amanda hope the tooth isn't paining you to much hun or better still it has stopped paining altogether.

The weather here today has been dead misarable.

Tec your weather seem's to have been the same as it was here.

Sue your mum has more energy than you because she doesn't have a family to look after so she has stored energy to use.
You should have asked her to come round to do your gardening lol.

S'mae Tec~~

Same here weather wise most of the day, ond mae'n braf nawr ( rawn in N Wales).
We had the heating on a few days ago, to take the chill off.!
We have mains gas Central heating, but dad living in a small village, only a few miles away had a LPG tank also and compared to our bills his were very expensive.
We have cavity wall insulation, loft insulation ,double glazing you name it we have it , it is so cold here in the winter....but we then have a prob with condensation cos it's warm inside and so cold outside.
So hubby has fitted a dry air ventilation system called a Lofty, it works very well when you leave the doors open..circulation of air. No more puddles on the window sills in the morning or steamed up windows.
Except for son who always closes his bedroom door at night.
Talking of son he should be home any mo from his shift at As*a and we have to change the cars around on the driveway.
Speak in a bit.

Good Morning Sue,
Good Evening Diane,

Sue you will have to ask your mum where she gets her stamina from lol.

Diane did you manage to get out today, despite the weather?

Tec.

Diane

Diane Report 1 Oct 2010 22:12

Hi Sandie,
I don't have a problem with condensation as there is enough air circulation coming through the floor board's from the shop below into liveing room and my bedroom. Can't wait till I can afford to get a proper fitted carpet for the 2 room's.

Good Evening and good day everyone .

Linda , I 'm glad to hear your having lots of lovely cuddles with Eve and that your daughter is being able to catch up a bit on her sleep , she must love having you there .

Sue , maybe your Mum has all that energy because she isn't always having to go to meetings ? Good for you getting a nap in the afternoon yesterday.

I went to the dentist yesterday and am on antibiotics at the moment . I'm sulking because I can't have my weekend drinkies of Rum : (
I had hoped the antibiotics would have sorted it out by now but I'm still taking pain killers as well ( but not as many thankfully ) .

It has been horrid here today as well . Very windy and miserable with some rain .

Hubby went out to buy the pipework for our bathroom refit and he was drenched coming home.

Tec am I right thinking your beloved dog is called Ianto, or did I misread it..?

Sue , was quite the opposite with my mum and shopping ,cos I never stop for food or a drink, she hated coming with me .lol

Di, ours is a semi detached bungalow , but we are very high up 13500ft above sea level and very exposed.
Think I may have added an extra 0 on that .lol

Hi Amanda, glad you went to the dentist hun and that he has given you antibiotic's, so it wasn't just the wisdom tooth giving you all the pain you also have an infection. No wonder you were in so much pain hun, hope thing's improve soon for you.
I'm sorry you can't have a drink at the weekend but you can make up for it next week ( double's )

My mum is a whirlwind in the shops. Sandie - we always have lunch:-)) Mum starts looking for a cafe as soon as we get where we go.

What a nuisance Amanda - taking antibiotics over the weekend. No rum for you:-( Do you have an abscess?
