The dentist didn't actually say it was an abscess , just that my gum at the back ( over the wisdom tooth ) is infected . I've been reading about " gum boils " I really hope it isn't one of those : O

Yes Diane and Sue , I'll be sloshing it back next week end ....lol

Lol Di,

I think it is Ianto.. sound like Yanto cos Tec is Welsh , didn't mean to be contradictory or rude to you, you know that don't you:))

Hi Amanda~~
Ooh toothache, gumboils .eck
Hope the antibiotics kick in soon:)

Sue ,
I prefer shopping on my own, if I do go with dau we agree to part and meet up at an allotted time, less hassle.
Unless she wants to purchase something specific clothes wise when she wants me on hand when she's in the changing room to change the style or the size without her having to redress and come out.lol

Good Evening Amanda,
Sorry you are still being troubled by your tooth, but hope the anti-biotics help - what a nuisance teeth are.

Sandie - Yes my dogs name is Ianto - his sister was Myfi - short for Myfanwy. Ianto understands Welsh, but since he's gone partially deaf he doesn't understand anything - but does tend to have selective hearing - sly dog lol.

Diane I took Ianto (pronounced Yanto) for a short walk this afternoon - since my knee is painful we walk along like two old men together lol.

Tec.

Ianto doesn't care what you call him, as long as you call him in time for his dinner lol.

Poor Tec - I have an image of the two of you hobbling along.

Amanda - don't read up on medical things. It's too scary:-(

Sandie - I don't mind shopping with my daughter. Actually I think I probably annoy her. My mum just doesn't stop - she has to look in every shop and takes forever to make up her mind:-))

Tec you never said whether or not you have ever tried Fieryjack ointment on your knee's, maybe you missed my post were I asked you. I believe it is good for the knee joint's, I hope they soon improve hun.

Good evening Tec ..... it sounds as if knees are a nuisance as well , I hope yours are feeling better soon .
I love the name Myfanwy , there is a Welsh legend isn't there that the name is in , something about a young girl and white cattle ?

We took our three dogs out earlier , poor old Milo just can't keep up with his daughter any more when it comes to chasing the ball on a rope....lol

I think my little dog is slowing down and it concerns me. She is sleeping more than usual and just doesn't have any "get up and go".

Diane - I think Mum just takes advantage of being taken out in a car rather than a bus. She does seem to like spending money but it's her money so she should enjoy it.

Sue ...how old is your little dog ? It is a worry when they get elderly .

Diane

Diane Report 1 Oct 2010 23:09

Sandie as you know I was born in Wales and have alway's wanted to learn the Welsh language but never had the time to. My dad who was born in Liverpool can speak it and understand it, pity he was never able to teach me.

And why not Sue, it's not as though you can take it with you, so as long as all bill's and stuff are covered then enjoy the rest.

Diane, I'm so sorry, I did see your post re Fiery Jack, but forgot to reply, wasn't being rude, just senile lol.
I have heard of it, but never tried it, so I will do. I have decorating to do and need to go up and down step ladders.

Amanda, there is a beautiful Welsh song called Myfanwy - my mother wanted it sang at her funeral and it was - very moving.

Sue - You are right about not reading leaflets in tablets - they are frightening. No secret I have a dodgy ticker that includes heart failure. Every one of my tablets gives side effects as can cause "heart failure" brilliant.

Sue .....Molly is a good age then , I'm not surprised she is slowing down , hopefully she might perk up as your warmer weather kicks in .

Our Milo is only coming up for 10 but being a running dog he has used himself hard ....lol....poor lad broke his leg as a pup ( ran into a groin on the beach ) but it has only really slowed him down now he is getting older . We call him " fatty " these days as he has plumped up a bit.

I'm going to disappear for a while as I need to have something to eat, only had bacon butty's all day. In case you have all disappeared when I return I will say good night to Tec, Amanda and Sandie and enjoy your day to all other's. If your still around I will speak to you later.

That sounds counter-productive Tec.

When my granddaughter was found to have down's syndrome before she was born we were advised by the doctor to not look at websites as they were often inaccurate. We were given the official websites and they were very informative and not at all scary. By the time Aimee was born we were very positive.

You must have read my mind Diane as I was just about to say goodnight...lol

I hate reading the leaflets in tablets as well Tec , apparently these antibiotics can cause all sorts of horrors including " swollen tongue " and " fits " !! whoopee . I'm surprised anyone ever dares to take medicines prescribed these days !

I'm off to bed now , so sleep well everyone on this side of the world and have a lovely day to you other folk .
