Good night Linda , sweet dreams .

I haven't disappeared and I did get away with it ....lol

Has anyone heard from Persey yet ? I hope she is ok .

Good Morning Sue,

Hope you are well - please don't encourage Linda with her madcap idea of mwe on the stairlift underneath a large dog - it's too silly.

Actually I would try it if I thought it would work.

I haven't heard from Persey - I'll email her and see if she's ok.

Hopefully you've settled Emily for the night. We're babysitting overnight next weekend but we'll do that at my daughter's house. It's easier with 3 children as I don't really have the beds for them all.

Good evening Tec, Linda Sandie and Amanda

Linda glad you had a lovely time with the family, sound's like Eve is coming on a treat (Bless), shame none of the Royal's were at home to welcome you.

Tec what part of shropshire does your daughter live in, I lived in Harlescott until I was 6yrs old.

I see you are baby sitting again Amanda, little one playing nanny up is she.

Sue ....I haven't been up to look but it's all quiet on the western front ....lol...Emilys auntie Meg ( my youngest ) is upstairs so she is keeping an ear out for her .
I think children settle better when you babysit them in their own homes , good luck with your three : )

Goodnight Linda,
sleep well - keep warm.

Good Evening Diane,,
My daughter lives 16 miles North of Shrewsbury - a nice country area, she can watch the narrrow boats on the Shropshire Union Canal across the field from her garden.

Amanda you should go back with that tooth, nothing more miserable than walking about with toothache - perhaps they will do something about now the infection is sorted after anti-biotics.

Bye Pam - take care.

Diane ....little one has been playing Nanny up for most of the day ....lol
Her Mum did say " she's in a funny mood today , naughty but happy sort of " . I think she might be getting a touch of the " terrible twos " even though she is only 15 months.

Diane Report 3 Oct 2010 22:58

Hi and bye Pam, sorry I missed you hun, hope weather improve's soon and you can get your grass cut, take care driving in the rain.

Amanda glad little Emily has settled down so you could stay with us.

Good night Linda, didn't have time for a natter with you as I was watching Downton Abbey, speak with you soon.

Good morning Sue, hope all's well with you hun, when there are 3 to mind then as you say it is better in their house and I think they are more settled in there own bed's.

The twins will ask to go to bed - they know when they're tired but Drew will stay up as long as he can. He really enjoys that time with us because he's a quiet boy whereas Joel is noisy and tends to get more attention.

Tec I'v just been looking at my old house on google map's, don't places change, mind you the school at the back of our old house look's the same, it was the one I went to when I lived there.

Amanda the terrible 2's alway's start early lol, I know it did with mine especially my daughter she was a holy terror were as my son's were not normal, they were angel's compared to daughter lol.

Phew .....I just braved the creaky floor boards and covered up the sleeping one ....lol

Sue ....are the twins older than Drew ? My eldest's two have to share a bedroom as she is in a two bedroom flat . If William falls asleep first then Daisy gets annoyed but it's all ok if it goes the other way round .

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 3 Oct 2010 23:13

My three all hit the terrible 2's early. One thing I was lucky with is hardly any full blown tantrums in the middle of the shopping centre:-))

On the other hand my daughter has had a couple of episodes when the children were younger. Joel can still put on a performance although he's a lot better now he's older. Their mum stays very calm and ignores them and it seems to work.

S x

Amanda - the twins are 2 years younger than Drew. They are 4 and Drew is 6.

Diane, places do change so much over the years, not always for the better. The house I was brought up in was demolished, and is now a carpark for the railway station. I have no sentimental attachment to that house as it held unpleasant memories for me.
I found a house on Google that my Gt. Grandmother was born in - took the address off the census form.

I think your not wrong there Diane.....lol

I have three daughters and of them the second one was the " holy terror " ( she being Emily's Mum ) , I'd never really had to deal with temper tantrums with my first two ( daughter and son ) and my youngest girl is and always has been very mild mannered ( but she can moan for England....lol ) . no , Rachael was THE one , she peeked at having eight temper tantrums a day , every day ( but NEVER when her Dad was about , I'm sure he thought we where making it all up ) . I just hope that little one hasn't inherited her moods to that extent.

Well I had better get off to bed now as I can OH washing up and letting the dogs out .

Sleep well us lot and I hope you others have a lovely day .

My daughter used to get so worked up she would do a little dance and hold her breath and go blue and then collapse on the floor, it used to frighten me, I took her to the Dr's and explained to him about it and he said it was just temper and when she did it next time I was to hold her around the waiste and give her a slap on the back of her leg's ( not to hard ) just enough to make her take a breath, sound's a bit harsh I know but it worked and stopped her going blue. He said it was one of those time's were a sharp shock was needed.
