Hi Linda, and hi to everyone:-)

Hope you and your OH are well.

Reading everyone's post reminded me of the six degrees of separation, I found the explanation on google. I'm hopeless at explaining my thoughts into words, it frustrates me....

Six degrees of separation (also referred to as the "Human Web") refers to the idea that everyone is at most six steps away from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in six steps or fewer.

My cousin lived in the same street as our great grandparents, different years of course, only a few houses apart. My cousin didn't know it at both time's, he also lived just around the corner from where our great grandparents are buried.
Bit spooky, when you think about it....

Carole:-)

Edit: Sorry, hi Persey and Berona xx

That was an extremely cryptic post Perse

I have heard of the six degrees of separation theory before Carole

I am sorry to have missed you Berona, I am normally around at that time, but today as we were been away on Saturday, I had to go down to the market to buy the fruit. We eat such a large amount, I couldn't do without it.

Hello Linda - hope you haven't got the flu and Eve. If mum is feeding her she'll have good immunity.

It's nice and sunny here this morning - it's good to see the sun after so many gloomy, rainy days.

Morning all I got to page 1702 and did not want people disappearing before I caught up so will do that later.

In my brief look in I saw where you and family are not well Linda - your winter has not even got going yet and you have caught the dreaded lurgie (sic).... maybe it is the change of weather... I know I seem to feel the advent of a cold coming on when the seasons change.... and so I get all vicked up etc. Achy is not good so hope you improve real soon. Eve should be fine but I know with one of mine she got an awful cold when I was feeding her. She had one day where she was only okay if she was carried around by me. Made it rather difficult getting dinner ready.

Yesterday we went down to Cambridge and surrounds and traveled some of the backroads.... we do have some lovely countryside and obviously some little creatures think it is theirs. A female pheasant crossed the road right in front of us - did not fly away - and we had to wait for her to cross and there was no crossing of anysort there. I said to OH she would have made a good meal. We stopped at a pub in a restaurant called Muddy Waters on the way back and had a lovely beef & guiness pie for dinner - it was done hot pot style.
