Not very posh Linda - just nice. Now the University one is posh. A lot of very academic people and local dignitaries - I'm way out of my depth with this one. I much prefer small luncheons with people I know.

I have a nice pair of black trousers and change the look with different tops:-))

I don't know why Linda is crawling - I said we'd visit when we go to the UK.

Amanda - I don't have to give a speech thankfully. I don't usually mind because it's with people I know. I think I'd be a wreck if I had to stand up in front of people I don't know.

I guess you would get used to it as a teacher. As I said I can stand up and talk to people when I know them - or at least the majority of them - but I would find it difficult to speak to a group of people I didn't know.

Amanda - I'm not the only one with a photo up on the wall so we can all sit there demurely:-)) My OH has been invited and a colleague will be there too.

Tec - it sounds like you've had a lovely day. Nice weather for all of you. It's miserable here.

I think Tec, must be having a moon lit stroll again. The Duchess didn't want to go out,so they didn't go Sue.

See, my brain is not addled, I remembered that

I did more tidying in the garden - the garden refuse bin goes in the morning, so I filled that to bursting. There's lots more to do, but a bit later.
