Chocs don't last more than a few days with my 3 chocoholics.

Tec , forgive me for being nosey do you live near a Castle town ?
that has a famous song named after it.
You'll know where I mean:)
We've camped there a few times and lower down the coast, lovely area:)

Edit ..no that's probably too far North

Hello Tec - hope you are well.

My daughter has chocolate left over from Easter too. It's too rich for the children and she doesn't eat chocolate often. When we babysat on Saturday I found some and ate it:-)) I told her the next day and she said I could've had the lot as she and her partner wouldn't eat it. If I'd known that.......

Linda - I wouldn't be claiming that ancestor either:-)) I have an ancestor called Friend.

Good evening/morning everyone. I'm beginning to get here at a reasonable hour, but it's not good to find the subject is chocolate! I'm getting a grocery delivery this morning and I have ordered a chocolate coated caramel tart - to have on hand for when I get visitors!

I had forgotten that I ordered it and now that I have been reading your posts, I know it won't live long enough to wait for any visitors!

Good evening Linda, Sandie and Tec
Good morning Sue

As Linda has claimed all the nutty one's then I would like any with caramel in them, btw what choc's are they Sue.

Well Sandie I think you have been on the hard stuff, or you have had laughing gas lol.

Hi Tec how's you and OH and how is the sanding coming on.

Linda, have you been busy today on the allotment or in the house.

Hello Berona. If you don't have any visitors before the 'use by' date then it would be a criminal waste. So you must eat it:-)) That's called "Sue's logic" and it works.

Hello Diane - the chocolates are Cadbury's Roses. Not my favourites but still good. You can have the caramel ones and Linda the nutty ones but someone has to have the peppermint creams and the turkish delight because I don't like those.

Do you realise that we are fast heading towards 25,000 posts?

Good morning Berona
well that tart has just gone, you must have read my mind ( read my post about caramel choc's )

Will be back in a while, my son has just made my tea.

'Use by' dates never interest me where chocolate is concerned!
BTW Sue - I keep forgetting to tell you......I made the banana bread which you so kindly gave me the recipe for....and I liked it very much. So much, that nobody else got to taste it. I'm now waiting for more bananas to soften!

No housework today Diane, just the tourist office this afternoon. It was hard going because the charity Christmas have arrived. They have been set up now, but we had several boxes of little gifts, wrapping paper etc which we also sell. They all had to be checked off, we had to create bar codes for them and print out stickers and put them on all the goods, so we can scan them through the till

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 11 Oct 2010 22:30

That's the problem Berona - waiting for the bananas. Our local greengrocer used to give me soft bananas but now he charges for them:-)) I like the recipe because it's quick and easy to make.

I have some great news. My son who has just finished a 12 week course at Uni has had an email to say he has passed with a distinction in chemistry and has now been offered a place in Uni starting next February:-)) He has worked so hard for this and we are very proud of him. Leaving his job was just the motivation he needed - no holding him back now.

Hi Berona - Save me a slice of that tart please, sounds rather nice.

Hello Diane, We're fine thank you. Took OHs leg to the clinic this afternoon, it's doing very well apparently.

Sandie, No I don't live anywhere near Castletown, nearer Aberdovey.

Tec.

I missed a page and read Diane's comments

"well that tart has just gone"

My mind went awol and thought the wrong sort of tart.

I hide the chocs, trouble is I find them again, so best not to have them in the house.... even choc chips for baking are not safe with me.

I was very good once - a friend sent me a lovely box of chocolate liqueurs (shaped like the bottles) and I rationed them out and the trouble was that after a while instead of being liquid centres those I saved for later crystalised.

Morning everyone Persey

Congratulations to your son,Sue, you must all be so pleased and proud.

We hit the 25,000 posts a while back on the numbers thread, it was a race to see who could make the actual 25,000th.lol

Good morning Berona and Perse~~~
You both chocoholics then ..?

Sue you can have all my soft bananas , I throw loads out, dau and I like them on the green side, hubby likes them yellow, son won't touch them.
When they go soft out they go ,a waste, which I hate ,so I only tend to buy a few at a time.

Good Morning Persey,

How's the weather with you today? Been lovely here. Montgomery sends his best wishes and a Llama hug.

Sad to see Dame Joan Sutherland, a great Australian lady died today.

Well done to your son Sue, nice to hear of youngsters doing well.

Linda so many celebrities and stars live in Switzerland because of the tax haven it offers.

Woke up to a lovely warm sunny morning - after yesterday... we had the heater on last night and we haven't done that for several weeks now.

I have never had a llama hug before perhaps that is because I have not hugged one - was reading about a little guy who ran across the sand to hug "Humphrey" the sea-lion - wrapped his arms around him and the sea-lion blew sand all over him. Little chap went right off them after that.

Persey - who actually prefers savoury to chocolate.
