The problem with the miners right now is decompression.
I hope they all get out safely, then they'll have the media fighting for their stories, for which they will get a whack..whatever as long as they get out safely:))

I was looking at your garden photo's the other day, and all the flowers. I'll take a look now and then in the winter months, just to cheer me up.

The thing I find hard to comprehend is the distance between us, it feel's as though we are only in the next road or so to each other and not the other side of the world as it is with some.

Goodnight Linda .

I wasn't going to post tonight as I am feeling rather glum , remembering the past . It will be 20 years tomorrow that I was in the motor bike accident that left me somewhat broken and took the man that I thought was going to be my future . He was only 30 years old , I cannot imagine what he would have been like at aged 50 .
Life can't half throw some nasty curves at times : (

I decided a long while ago that instead of living life without him I would live it for him .

Diane it's all due to the wonders of modern technology isn't it - when I was young very few people flew to Australia, most went by sea - so Aus was six weeks away to most people. Australia seemed so far away then. Now we can talk to each other instantly, and what with air travel and the use of the internet the world has shrunk.

Just in time to say goodnight again! Oh well, I was a busy bee yesterday and must have needed the sleep.

Reading over the last couple of pages, I couldn't help thinking of Alison. She was an inspiration. I often wonder how her husband and sons are coping. I periodically clean old 'stuff' out of my computer, but when I come to anything about her, I leave it there. Can't seem to want to get rid of it.

Goodnight Amanda,

I am so sorry to hear that dreadful accident happened to you, What a life shattering experience that must have been, and something you've had to live with ever since.
Things happen to us that change our lives forever, and fate takes us down a different path to that that we expected.
To want to live your friends life for him is a lovely attitude, and I'm sure he would want you to do that.
My thoughts will be with you tomorrow - take care.
