I'm a bit of a night owl !!
Like you I'd love to see pics of Amanda's garden, will pm her my e mail addy in the morning.
I have some nice ones of when my red poppies were out earlier in the yr, but I was just experimenting with the camera on my new phone.
Only bought it because my pay as you go was playing up, that was hubby's cast off !
We both now have the same phones for which we pay £20 a month, but we redeem the payments every 6months, so at the end of the contract it will have cost me £3 for using the mobile for 24 months!!
If you intoduce a friend, hubby has intoduced 3 you recieve £10,so he will end up paying nothing for his phone, in fact they will be paying him.lol
Financially astute my hubby !!.lol

I was looking for something in my computer the other day Berona and came across Ali's posts and messages and was also wondering how her family were managing especially the younger boy.

I had to travel to Ballarat today, I took my mum to see a specialist. The weather was atrocious, rain and thick fog, its spring would you believe!!

Amanda, I am so sorry to read your terrible tragedy that happened to you. I'm sure your guardian angel is with you every day. I will take a moment to think of you tomorrow on your sad day.

I also often think of our Ali and how her family are, her three special men who she loved to bits.

I went shopping with my daughter the other day, she needed new shoes:-) I went to the ATM to get some cash out, and someone had left their card in the machine. So I took the card back to the persons bank - I would be devastated if I lost my card, and would have to walk around bare footed:-))
Yes, I got new shoes too, and a new purse to go with the shoes!!

Hello Sue, we had that thunder and rain last night, OH made me put my car under the carport - it wasn't as bad as predicted. We were expecting huge hail stones, like the ones in Sydney that last time.

Hello Linda. I watched the first 4 miners come up. It was very emotional. I don't mind admitting that I was very teary. Watching it live was incredible. I think they've got a long road ahead of them.

I have just watched the rerun of the first two on i player, it was very emotional indeed, it is a miracle that they are coming out at all

The capsule has just gone down for the 6th miner. They say a miner per hour so a long while to go yet.

My congratulations also for 25,000 posts. Onward and upward to 26,000 and later 30,000.
It is good to see the miners rescued.
I was reminded on our TV tonight that it is 40 years since the collapse of the Westgate Bridge during construction. I have been across it once only. It is a magnificent structure, but so sad about those who died.
At least it led to better OH & S laws.
