Hello Tec - hope you and the Duchess are well.

I don't want a statue in Trafalgar Square - thank you anyway. I really don't want pigeons pooping on me. Very undignified:-))

Hello Diane, Sandie and Tec,

I was thinking more of a flowing evening gown Sue, but black trousers and a softer top sounds just as good.

Hello Diane,

You snuck in while I was typing.

I thought of you today while in the Co-op.
Bought one of their rather nice deep apple pies, and went to look for some cream to put on it.
Amongst the various pots of cream was a pot of Baileys Extra Thick Cream, that's when I thought of you. I bought it and have just had some on the warm apple pie - it was delicious. Have saved you some.

Tec.

Good evening Tec , I hope you and the Duchess have had another lovely Autumnal day in Welsh Wales .
I'll have to pace in various directions as my carpet is getting a bit old and woebegone .......lol

Linda .... I imagine Sue in a crinoline dress with a fan that she can flutter and look demure in a corner but smart trousers and a soft top sound more realistic.......lol

SueMaid Report 14 Oct 2010 21:57

I love Baileys:-)) That sounds lovely Tec - I don't think we have that delicacy over here.

I've just gone outside and it's dull and cool. We may have some more rain.

Yes the soft top does seem a good option - ok you've talked me into it.

I've tried Baileys Linda, and didn't like it, but the Duchess likes it. Have to say it was really nice on apple pie as a thick cream.

Diane's got a bottle in the bottom of her wardrobe, or she did have - not that I've ever been in Diane's wardrobe lol.

Hi Amanda,
It was dull and overcast here today, and rather cool - rain forcast tomorrow, but the weekend looks good.

Amanda2003 Report 14 Oct 2010 22:04

I'm sure if Tec had been in Diana's wardrobe it was only because he was searching for the bottle of Baileys or Narnia .

Diane

Diane Report 14 Oct 2010 22:06

Hi Tec, I don't know
Perse think's of me when she has bacon butty and you think of me when you see bailey's. Thank's for saving me some hun, actually my daughter came today and brought me some baking apple's so I will be making either apple crumble or apple pie in the next few day's so I will save some for you and you can have some more with your bailey's cream.

Linda he wasn't offering you his bailey's cream, just me :)

Sue I'm sure what-ever you wear you will look nice, good luck hun and enjoy the moment.

Amanda I don't think I can keep this pacing up for much longer, I need to rest my hip so if you don't mind I will sit down for a while.

Hi Sandie - Sue is a famous lady, but it hasn't gone to her head, she still talks to us lol.

Amanda, I live in Narnia, but was looking for a way out through Diane's wardrobe when I spotted the Baileys. Unfortunately she clouted me over the head with a frying pan and sent me packing :))

Amanda2003 Report 14 Oct 2010 22:09

Diane ...by all means sit down and rest . How has your hip been since your return to work ? I hope it isn't getting any worse .

Tec .... it has been much the same here , we did get an odd glimpse of sun but it has been positively chilly all day .

Amanda2003

Amanda2003 Report 14 Oct 2010 22:12

Tec......why on earth would you want to leave Narnia ! and had Diane been making bacon butties in the frying pan before she walloped you with it ?

SueMaid Report 14 Oct 2010 22:12

Can you imagine how funny we would all look to anyone popping in for a quick read?

Hi Sandie - I work for a volunteer organisation. Our local University has a Chancellor's Community Awards night once a year where they honour volunteer groups and individuals. Our group won an award about 3 years ago and the Uni decided that a representative from each volunteer group who has won an award would have their photo taken and this would be put on a canvas in the foyer of the Uni. with a small plaque about the work each group does. This evening is the awards night and the unveiling of the pictures. So I've been invited to attend.

Well if Tec has been in my wardrobe he would have got lost especially the one I keep the bailey's in, mind you he would come out very light headed as that is were I keep my stash of bottle's, I keep my clothe's in the other two.. lol

Hi Sandie, it is more than a few page's back that you will find the answer, I wont bother explaining were she is going today as by the time you read this some-one else will have told you I think.
