Goodnight Linda,
sleep well - keep warm.

Amanda I think my nose is a quite distinctive feature - especially as my daughter is not too pleased to have inherited it apparently lol.

I like the song "Blue Skies" Sandie - I have now got the tune running around my head.

I don't have to stay up because it is day, I am retired and I can go for a kip anytime I feel like it. (well most of the time)

Pinocchio indeed,

Did you know there are pinocchio - nosed frogs Amanda?

Pamela Report 14 Oct 2010 23:01

~~~~~~~~ hello everyone who's left. I had the devil of a job finding that waving key, expecially as I was busily walking the floor, making my bed, cleaning the vanity unit in the bathroom, washing breakfast dishes and answering the phone. All, I might add, in the last 1 1/2 hours.
Sue hope your night goes/went well. Not sure which night it was but I'm sure it was/will be fun.
Well, today I go to Cairns and finish off this workload on the job I'm doing. Next lot starts Oct 22, I believe, but that's just tidying up the loose ends left over from the main thrust of interviewing. Catching up with those who were away and those who were too busy or whatever in the early section. Can't say I'll be unhappy to have a break. It's all been very hectic but I must say that being so busy at this time has been a big help.
Hope to get back to golf next week, that is once I go to the 9 hole course and try out the shoulder to make sure the tendons are up to whacking the ball around. Used to be very competitive but not any more. Just want to go out and have fun, get some exercise and socialise with the girls. That will do me these days.
Is anyone still around by the way?? Or am I talking to myself?
Berona Report 14 Oct 2010 23:01
Do you all realise what you have done to me? I have been reading the posts and just as I get near the end, the talk turns to bacon butties.......and I haven't had my breakfast yet! What about my diet? How can I stick to it when you do that? (I have an open packet of bacon in the fridge, too).
Makes the old cereal, skim milk and banana very unappealing, doesn't it?
Persephone
Persephone Report 14 Oct 2010 23:05
The fact that they were found alive after such a long time was remarkable in itself. Our reporter over there said there was to be no alcohol but champagne and beer cans were being fizzed over everyone and he said he was soaked to the skin in alcohol.
I am truly amazed that such a feat was carried out with such precision and that the trip down and back in the capsule took a lot less time than they originally thought it would.
Good Morning Pam, and Berona,
Goodnight Amanda,
Hope you manage to sleep tonight.
Pam is it far to Cairns, and is a good road?
I don't use half my keyboard and have no idea what some things do - maybe I should be more adventurous.
Berona you should definately have that bacon buttie for breakfast, I can hear and smell the bacon sizzling from here - go on, spoil yourself.
Sue I think the miners are in remarkable shape considering what they've been through - very tough men.
Tec.
